Good battery, average camera for photos, very bad stabilization for videos (you get ghosting in videos even for a sony midranger, I had to disable stabilization in video settings and now its a bit shaky but better than being on).Install a gcam and you will be much better for camera but no solution for videos

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2024Very expensive phone for what it offers...compared to other expensive phones that lacks 3.5mm jack & sdcard slot, it does offer more options.

i also prefer front firing stereo speakers & not top/ bottom.

The Sony Xperia 10VI is a refresh model. It's a great midrange phone that comes with some great features.

First of all it still has a headphone jack which means your able to use wired headphones, it's battery capacity is large so easily capable of lasting 48 hrs. The screen display is bright and vivid, its sized at 6.1 inches 1080 x 2520 pixels.

This is an android based system which also boasts a pretty decent camera - 48MP. The storage is either 8gb or 128gb but the phone also boasts a micro SD card slot so you can easily expand the memory capacity.

The phone itself whilst made of plastic has sustainability at its heart with plastic free packaging, however it doesn't come with anything but the phone. This isn't a huge issue at the charging port is USB - C which I'm sure most of us have chargers from multiple devices.

The phone is a pleasure to use with a relatively intuitive UI interface and also has an inbuilt fingerprint sensor which make its secure and easy to unlock.

Overall this is a great phone, which boasts many features that are not available in similarly priced models.

Extremely expensive phone ~ 380 Euros. I can get the Galaxy A55 for 300 Euros and it's better in every way.

The phone overheats when charging and when the processor is under stress. The battery drains much faster than previous generations and I keep having the impression the phone is defective. But I can't return it now and I am stuck with a dud

I like Samsung, Sony made too many mistakes in their operating systems and didn't fix them in their mid-range phones. I see what you mean, I'm talking about today's compact phone standards, which is 6.1 inches and so on. If you still feel nostalgic for small screens, then you should always think about Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, HTC Desire, Samsung Google Nexus S and many others. Life is changed. We have to move further.

With zenphone 8 you can still reach the top of the screen with one hand with your thumb. I don't think that is possible with 155cm length. I was just trying to point out that true compacts are dead. Last phone I had was Sony xz1 compact. Currently using Asus zenphone 8. Asus zenphone 10 probably won't get updates soon. So might upgrade to Sony 5V or 10VI. Don't really like Samsung software.

good phone. nice audio, sensible design, doesn't arbitrarily remove things for no reason like headphone jack or sd card slot. reaching the top part of the screen is a bit of a stretch with one hand. i'll be using this for the next 4 years at least. 8/10
