Anonymous, 14 May 2020Why are you f*cling injecting yourself into the convo again... moreA little hyperbolic response. No need for that hateful comment on here

Anonymous, 14 May 2020Big batteries can be fit in phones under 9mm. No need for ... moreYes, that is true. There isn't really much benefit having a slimmer phone. Sony managed to increase battery capacity of the Xperia 1II without making the phone bigger. (compared to Xperia 1) But adding 1mm to a phone can increase the capacity by a good amount.
If a battery with the dimensions of 135x45x5 has the capacity of 3334mah, then a battery with the dimensions 135x45x6 (1mm increased thickness) should have about 4000.8mah.
    20% increase battery capacity.

4-5 years ago, I had to replace the battery in my android tablet because the battery was "a fire hazard" (Nvidia shield tablet battery recall) So instead of sending back the unit, I replaced the 5200mah battery with a much larger 10,000mah battery.
It looks horrible, but it works!
https://i.imgur.com/R8Pv76y.jpg Alot of space under the battery because that was the only battery I could find that would fit.

You just made this dumb comment?

First, own any Sony phone with Batterycare, use it for 2 yrs at least, then feel obliged to write this kind of nonsense...
Secondly, show us as proof battery degradation percentage of any Xiaomi device after two yr use via a dedicated app, if it even survived that long...

My wifes chnese OEM phone with low HD screen and 4000 maH ended up charging twice a day after just one year of use. Its dead weight on a shelf now. I could use an app to measure its battery degradation level if you insist, but Im affraid it will be quite a big percentage.

On the other hand I have screenshot proof of Sonys batterycare efficiancy, with only 10% degradation after over 1000 charge cycles, so do not even intend to debate this with you further...

Jezzz, if anything, at least dont brag around about battery longeivity from chnese OEMs, they are really lousy at it.

IPhones are notorious for battery degradation.
Heck apple slows them down with updates so you can upgrade. They are even paying fines for the same.
No point arguing with delusionals like you.

                Higher capacity is higher capacity.

Besides, companies like Xiaomi offer higher capacity 5000mAh batteries with 800 charge cycles instead of Sony which gives you 3k-4k mAh batteries with 300-400 charge cycles.

As I said everything is available. 32GB rams, 2TB storage, 10000mah battery. You can keep anything you want in a mobile but that just doesn't make any sense in real world.

For a poor battery care mobiles 5000mah is minimum but not for good battery care mobiles like iphone and Sony (Both flagships always uses less ram and less battery compared to other flagships, yet they perform excellent). This brings us to end note that educated people will never talk about numbers but rather practicality and technology.

But flagships like V60 and Motorola Edge+ do have 5k mAh battery with headphone jack.

And if you include budget phones like Samsung M21, you'll find 6000mAh with headphone jack under 9mm thickness.
