I don't understand, why sony don't want to build a phone with great audio quality?
We already know sony has sony music, walkman, but the audio quality of their phones is just not bad, and it seems this phone doesn't have fantastic audio quality as well.
Even xiaomi have realized how important the quality of speaker is.
and LG has Hifi quad dac feature, which makes sony far behind

The purpose design of Xperia 1 II is to preserve Z-series iconic design with modern touch that most fans loves.

[deleted post]You're hallucinating. 84.0% STB ratio and yet big bezel statement... If it's like 68.4% or 68.6% like the XZ Premium and XZ1 respectively, that's understandable and acceptable. But this one? That's beyond absurd. This is the similar comments on how big bezel on HTC U12+ despite having 80.0% STB ratio in 2018 and fitting all essential front components in tight bezel. De ja vu, people... Besides, how on earth they gonna put the true front facing stereo speakers if you're asking them to put the same bezel level as P40 Pro+ level? On the USB port like Mate 20 Pro? Or do you want Sony to do Mi Mix Alpha solution to have 180% STB ratio? Besides, it's already known only small amount of phones to have true front facing stereo speakers in phone, even HTC doesn't have one now...

This year will be a very very bad year for sony's mobile business. It's already a bad year for the competitors, and will be worst year for sony.
Nobody will waste 12k euro for an xperia.

I have used Sony since the Xperia S, the only time I changed was for the LG g5, and I found the quality of the phone rubbish compared to the Sony. I personally like the bezels, not great to look at, but at least you can watch a film on the movie, holding the phone properly. The only problem I have had was with the Z1 which broke after falling from a decent height (it had until then survived other falls) so not the phones fault. So personally I will keep using Sony and will no doubt change my xz premium for the Xperia 1 ii.

[deleted post]Tell us how they can keep front speakers without bezel.
The acoustic surface of bravia cant be applied on cellphone.
And no, that thing used as earpiece sound through glass is not same thing.
Speaker beside usb port is an awful experience.
