Sony doesn't have 108mp sensor because Sony sensor division is worse than Samsung ISOCELL.

you havent got a slightest clue about who makes... moreLast 2 Sony flagships phones with OLED screens were made by LG and Samsung. You are mistaken on all your comments. From all accounts it appears that this phone is again using a Samsung Oled screen.
Sony doesn't make any Oled mobile phone screens, nor does JDI or any other Japanese company.
Also no Phone has a true 10 bit display. The cost is too high. But, 8+2 bit displays come close to display true 10 bit quality, as thats what most flagship brands are using these days.

I feel like XZ2 Compact, 720p screen, 3,5 jack, Xperia 1 II cams on board woul be pretty much unbeatable beast in compact category ... sadly, we won't see one.

I'm hoping Sony to release a compact phone with more mainstream aspect ratio like XZ2 Compact, a reasonable thickness, i won't mind the smaller battery unless it has a fast charging like 25W or more.

Let's say, NO, it's not that easy and yes manufacturers lie about real Hz all the time.
If you want, do your research on 4K TVs, it's the same case.
I will buy this phone and disable that useless (downright hurtful when it comes to image quality) tosh right away.

This new sony looks pretty good but looking at my present phone the p20 pro apart from a bigger screen and i wide angle camera i have the better phone??? I really want to steer away from a chinese phone after the problems with us and huawei due to the fact that the us could possibly ban google software on all chinese phones in the future.

Yes its soapy, I turned it off.
But no artefacts or any kind of input lag whatsoever.
Guess it comes down to tech quality inside the TV.
Personaly dont like that soap at all for watching movies and series, but for gaming and UI/browsing interface it would be a very nice option.
