Sony does make 10 bit wider color gamut screen as it uses 8bit+2bit.
Therefore Sonys screen is certainly better in color reproduction and gamut space regard.

90hz is gimmicky soft... moreYou do realise that hardware enabling 120 hz on a 120 hz screen requires mere 2 lines if coding.
Its just that easy, and has a serious hit on battery consumption.
On the other hand frame interpolating software for 90 hz equivalent motion blur reduction on a 120 hz screen requires an entire new driver coding (hundreds of lines of coding), and seriously reduces battery consumption for same visual effect.
Im quite sure 4k res with 90 hz software based interpolation is more energy efficient than fHD res at hardware based 120 hz. And requires a lot more RnD invested in it.

I don't know if any of you guys talking bad about sony have eber had an xperia phone i actually did used lg sony and smasung currently having s9+ and i am very confident to say sony was the best among them and i am sure it stills the best

Too bad that Sony spoiling the momentum this wonderful phone created, up to now we haven't seen hands on (1 only?) and actual reviews. An their competitors already catching up with releases and reviews of new phones to consider. This is my dream phone but I'm crossing my finger with its performance.Hope they will release it soon globally.

It already has 3k display. 4k is just overkill and brings no improvement all the while consuming more battery. Higher refresh rate on the other hand is a must in 2020.

Sony is the brand, Chinese or Korean phone are all the same. I had Samsung Galaxy and OnePlus phones (no difference), they have same displays, but not Japan's ones. It's the same if I will compare Lexus with Kia

Display probably made by Japan Display. 4k hdr Oled Display, not even Samsung S20 Ultra has one.

But checking back on how SONY implemented the displays in past. Specially this being improvement over last year model which was already one of the best. There is high possibility of XPERIA 1 II to have best display for 2020 model year. I am only talking about the visual quality and not the gaming experience for smoothness. There will be lot many options to pick from if one needs high refresh rate display but if one wants to have best visual experience which is sharp, detailed, natural and true to life then definitely SONY sits at top of that department.

He got them references from a marketing site. :))
Only problem tho, is that marketing site doesnt have any refference to any of Sonys mobile screens.
But without doubt, Sammys screen is brighter, whilst Sonys screen is more complete, has a proper aspect ratio, is sharper and has wider color gamut accuracy.
