Display probably made by Japan Display. 4k hdr Oled Display, not even Samsung S20 Ultra has one.

But checking back on how SONY implemented the displays in past. Specially this being improvement over last year model which was already one of the best. There is high possibility of XPERIA 1 II to have best display for 2020 model year. I am only talking about the visual quality and not the gaming experience for smoothness. There will be lot many options to pick from if one needs high refresh rate display but if one wants to have best visual experience which is sharp, detailed, natural and true to life then definitely SONY sits at top of that department.

Photography Pro edition: the phone and their addon camera lens.
Audiophile edition: the phone and some extra hi res headphones.
That would be smart.

He got them references from a marketing site. :))
Only problem tho, is that marketing site doesnt have any refference to any of Sonys mobile screens.
But without doubt, Sammys screen is brighter, whilst Sonys screen is more complete, has a proper aspect ratio, is sharper and has wider color gamut accuracy.

I have no chance to compare oppo, vivo or some other Chinese brands. So I'm comparing iPhone, Samsung, LG, OnePlus, Sony and Google pixel....
I do have Xperia 1, OnePlus 7t (my current phone), wife has Xperia 1. I did have op7pro, I had s8+ and did compare s20s with my op7t in bestbuy store in USA. So, I know what I'm talking about

It is one of the best displays out there but not "THE BEST" as the guy I was replying to commented.

Ya won't find anything close to this phone. Looks like the ideal phone. My recent flagship is just few days old, but can't wait to sell it.

Galaxy S20 won me over this model from Sony. I ordered it today.
The main reason why I ordered the S20 was the price difference.
I got it at 750 euros plus wireless charger pre-order bonus.
Sony looks cool but I can't do 1,200 euros. Sorry.

Because difference between 4K QHD and FHD is clearly visible even at screen size of 5" and here we are talking about 6.5" which makes it look more obvious. The biggest difference can be noticed while reading text, browsing and as well as gaming. Little less in comparison but still the difference can be noticed in Images and Videos as well.
