My experience the Dsee HX on my Xperia Z2 pair with it attached earphone (included in the Z2's box) produce nice audio , it pure and can hear the every musical instrument and it is pleasure, it restore the compressed audio file (MP3) near to hi-res resolution, of course I can also tune the equalizer sometimes, that 5 years ago from my experience.

Xperia 5 II will be better buy for those who like high refresh screen over resolution, including myself. Smaller form factor, 6" screen with 1080p for sure so Sony definitely will give it high refresh screen

Read the first comment I did. I think you should start reading my comments more carefully.
What I said is that XM3 is big improvement over XM2(the one you listed as you own) making it a decent headphone for laid-back listening experience which it was developed to do.
Then you stated that XM3 was bad in comparison to XM2 as it had its Bass boosted. That is the point which started the discussion.(read your own previous posts)
Now you ask why I say it is bit better. Seriously. I dint say it is bit better I said it far superior in every way. Not only me but all the reviewers agree with it too.

"My friends" a lot of my friends are using pretty bad headphones ... maybe you, just like me have friend with zero regard to sound quality.

As it is pretty obvious the you got a defective piece(if you purchased it) or have come across a defective piece(if you had your hands on for a short time). I have heard lot many XM3s as many of of my friends have it and use for traveling purpose. Not even a single one of that sounds as bad what you are referring to. I agree that it is not Z7 M2 level but saying that it is worse than XM2 is not correct as I compared both and XM3 is far more detailed and upfront in comparison to XM2.

You might be on a scale "I love it!" / "I hate it!", I prefer more steps in my own "value metrics" and no ties to a brand ofc.
That's why I own so many different headphones from different manufacturers, I care for a products in its "buble" in its price range, when I see DSEE I do my own research and take it in a perspective - aka when I see DSEE a pure bass boost and some other meaningles trickery that "enhances dynamic range" and then WH-1000XM3 with its bass boost and I combine it to an -> compressed streaming services ("mastered for lossy format") + DSEE bass boost + WH 1000XM3 bass boost ... I get really disgusting result, same result I get with my WH II and WF III.

I guess that will not be happening any time soon. 2021 I may check it out.

Fearghast, 28 Jul 2020TBH I find it quite sad that even Mediatek performs noticab... morelike i said, you should try samsung with their lovely exynos first before you trashing sony phones, same price also, imagine that,you have to pay the exact same msrp and yet getting exynos. i haven't try SD samsung but i'm guessing it should perform alright. i rather pay 1200usd to get xperia 1 II than paying whatever the most expensive s20 cost and still getting exynos

You are n... moreI won't check XM3, that is seriously a lost cause - huge bass boost, muddy highs and probably worst mics to take a call with ... no, no thank you. I do not care for XM3 even with a huge discount, I care for XM4, that should fix a ton of XM3 issues (not to mention touch issues in winter ... I didn't mention that before, did I?).
Even when I had preorder on Xperia 1 II, I already had a buyer for XM3. Many people like Beats, you might like what XM3 is, I prefer quality ... I can wait.
