      And 12 mega pixel doesn't always beat 64

        The specs are good,the 120Hz refresh rate is a good improvement over last year's 60Hz 60Hz refresh rate but sony should have provided high resolution cameras,bigger battery,under display fingerprint reader and thinner bezels the bezels make the phone look outdated. But overall it's still a nice phone.

The intent here is that they are borrowing the tech from the Cine Alta line for improved video on mobile. While others are using slighter larger sensors, they are much higher pixel which is good more detail but it has the opposite effect for video. Higher MP = worse low light for video. The size of the phone sensors are so small that the difference in quality isn't even all that much better so this gets away w/ it for its application imo.

          Now I do hope that in the future they implement something similar to the Vivo's gimbal cam/IBIS since content creators will def benefit from this. I love that they also put in the periscope camera. Hoping also that there will be some form of significant digital zoom and in the future I hope they finally tap into their walkman division to borrow their High end audio DAC technology for the headphone jack. So many phones now have a 32 bit dac built in thats completely wasted because there isnt a headphone jack built in unlike Sony phones.

            It is best phone till now

                        Hoping by next year they finally tap into the Walkman department and drop us a high end 32 bit DAC built in~

                          No samsung, no apple, no one plus we will not be buying your garbo phones this year.... Because this has a headphone jack, flagship specs, high refresh, bleeding edge cameras, and everything enthusiasts actually asked for. And yes I would easily pay $2000 for a phone w/ a headphone jack~

                                    Early summer... so the phone will be available in July or August. Assuming if it even comes to your country at all.

                                    Besides the size difference, the Xperia 1 iii has twice the internal storage capacity of the Xperia 5 iii. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the front, which the Xperia 5 iii doesn't have.

                                    Everything else is the same.

                                    Xperia 10 iii... no one cares about that. Even Sony couldn't care less in its presentation. If you want a cheaper phone, you can get a Chinese one which has flagship specs, not Snapdragon 690, which is not even good enough to be called 'midrange'.
