        I was a Sony fan! but the extreme tall shape now is not really practical!
        They already sell light-sabers online for way less money -_-

            If Sony and Google collaborated and made a smartphone, that would be a game changer and a justifiable +$1500 price tag.

              Sony is not serious about making an around great smart phone. Three easy examples 1)... They make great wireless head phones but the still use up valuable real estate on their phones for a headphone jack. 2)... They make great cameras but can't seem to put together a great camera on a smartphone. 3)... They make great software/hardware for the film industry but can't make a good smartphone software/hardware that is easy to use and generates flawless results.

                  You can see the difference between QHD and FHD on such a tiny screen if you look at it from a cm of distance. That's not a good look for you and you'll DEFINITELY have to see an optician if you continue with this practice.
                  And that's rich coming from you about cost cutting when you're suggesting a resolution which Sony doesn't even have in its portfolio (so buying it requires extra costs) and makes zero to none difference in picture quality (but it only burdens the battery), while a proven battery-saving technology such as LTPO is too expensive.

                    21:9 is the UGLIEST looking aspect ratio.
                    Best looking phones are with 6", 18:9 or 19:9.

                    I think Screen aspect ratio is the reason most people HATE Sony phones

                      Then what do you want.
                      In my store we sells plenty of devices and people are happily with JBL for their outstanding sound quality and cheaper price compared to rbands like Sony, Samsung or Apple.
                      Even Razer are way better.

                          Also, I think they can just jump to 80 W instead of 60 W, even which sounds antique now thinking that Chinese manufacturers nearly reached 200 W and 300 mAh per-hour charging speed and they also should provide much faster wireless charging like 50 W.
                          And, finally, the Sony I know won't ditch older Samsung panels for newer and more efficient panel with even first-gen LTPO. You know the thing called "cost cuts". Their mobile department is bound to bankrupt (like HTC), they're alive because of all these fans hyping them. Sharp is so much better than them, at least they're really trying to realize themselves.

                              Oh Sony... Again the same small main camera sensor, I don't even want to talk about the ultrawide and front facing camera. I'll be waiting for what Pro-II will bring instead of picking this.
