21:9 is the UGLIEST looking aspect ratio.
Best looking phones are with 6", 18:9 or 19:9.
I think Screen aspect ratio is the reason most people HATE Sony phones

you have to suffer, 15 May 2022jbl earbud sucks though, it sounds muddy and muffled. atlea... moreMan did you ever tried them???
No.
Then what do you want.
In my store we sells plenty of devices and people are happily with JBL for their outstanding sound quality and cheaper price compared to rbands like Sony, Samsung or Apple.
Even Razer are way better.

walkman8, 14 May 2022I don't mind the side fingerprint sensor, let it be - ... moreWhy not QHD+ but FHD+? I can tell the difference between these two resolution, it's your problem if you can't tell them apart. I advise you to go see an optometrist.
Also, I think they can just jump to 80 W instead of 60 W, even which sounds antique now thinking that Chinese manufacturers nearly reached 200 W and 300 mAh per-hour charging speed and they also should provide much faster wireless charging like 50 W.
And, finally, the Sony I know won't ditch older Samsung panels for newer and more efficient panel with even first-gen LTPO. You know the thing called "cost cuts". Their mobile department is bound to bankrupt (like HTC), they're alive because of all these fans hyping them. Sharp is so much better than them, at least they're really trying to realize themselves.

Oh Sony... Again the same small main camera sensor, I don't even want to talk about the ultrawide and front facing camera. I'll be waiting for what Pro-II will bring instead of picking this.

I don't mind the side fingerprint sensor, let it be - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
This phone is very close to perfection.
If Xperia 1 V adds this, it would be a dream come true:
-ditch the 4k resolution and all that resolution switching nonsense, nobody can tell the difference between full HD and 4k on a sub 100 cm2 screen. Let it be constantly FHD for battery life's sake
-ltpo 3.0,again for better battery life
-60 w charger included in the box (no, you fanatics, you don't HAVE TO charge it full speed, you can choose to charge slowly, but it's nice to have options, don't you think?)
-S8 Gen 2 with less throttling and overheating, new larger cooling system
-Night Mode (again, you don't have to use it, but it's nice to have options rather than a lack of them)
-more AI power in the default Camera/Video app, leave the manual adjustments to professional modes
-3 years of software updates.
And that's it! I don't ask anything more, hell, keep the ludicrous pricing, if it has all that, it's worth it.

I cant understand the issue people have with side mounted Fingerprint sensor. It is the best placement a Phone can have. Because it is one-touch Unlock while giving you the ability to tap the screen without unlocking it. Like every-time you gonna pick the phone up to use it you gonna hold it by sides. Okay even if you wanna use it laying flat you can still unlock it without lifting it up at all with the index finger. While you don't have to press and hold or double tap or even move your thumb to on screen position as all that is done in single press while you are picking it up.
Don't know what is the issue with it. It is the best and most comfortable implementation ever.
