Anonymous, 01 Dec 2023Sensor with bad software. What a flex to be honest You are wrong. That was in past. At now Xperia 1V makes better photos in Auto than in Manual mode. Type "Xperia 1V HDR HLG" and you will find the true. No one believe you because you sounds like Xbox fan.

TheSnowWinterR7, 02 Dec 2023Considering Sony never made smartphone business their highe... moreThere's a lot of ' leaks ' saying that the 2024 lineup will see a whole different strategy and lineup for the mobile division but I'm skeptical of that. just really hope they find their mobile division to be worth it rather than just keep it as a show piece it's a real shame on Sony's part not even LG had such a cry from reviewers and fans to make a comeback hope they listen at least next year

Pitchwisse, 30 Nov 2023That was the entire point of my comment - they simply do no... moreConsidering Sony never made smartphone business their highest priority during its commencement in 2000 until now (unlike Apple or Nokia), I think it's safe to say that Sony is doing this for two main reasons, outside being that Sony's side projects status reasoning, as you said earlier, are to extend Sony Alpha's hand closely and just to keep the patents and technology they have in the smartphone division that they implement in other divisions that may be lost if they quit just like that, such as 5G (or 6G too) radio equipment and NFC.
Besides, Sony has two of their biggest moneymaker divisions, the biggest being their Financial Group Division (Bank, Insurance, etc.) that generates almost 50% of their profit*, and the second is gaming (PlayStation and Services). Three, if you include their Sony Music division, which generates decent profits. Plus, Sony is probably increasing its operation on B2B, which has some advantages over B2C (proof are Apple Vision Pro's tech and Exmor T expanding outside Xperia inside Find N3 and OP Open).

No one was comparing sd cards with internal memory. Only sony fans could to that because everyone else knows it's not comparable

This phone is soooo overpriced. Even SD card speeds are absurd. Check XDA thread called "Internal file speed Vs SD card". Everything is worse on this phone compared to competitors for the same price. Even AlMiGhTy Sd CaRd speeds are super bad. Waste of money.
It overheats more than any other snapdragon gen 2 CPU. Check XDA forum, especially thread "Does mk5 overheat to an any extent?". This phone is joke for it's price. DON'T SUPPORT OVERPRICED TECH
Sony fan boys even more desperate than apple ones. They are living in forum and trying to convince everyone hOw GoOd tHiS OvErPrIcEd PhOnE Is. Worst OS support of all androids. Even xiaomi promised 4OS updates, 5 years security. And this overpriced tech "The majority of Sony phones come with two upgrades and two years of patches".
