I suggest you take a look at the 1V display in person and see the video it can record in Video Pro app

Considering sony flagships typically go for 5 generations there's a good chance the next one might not be called the 1 vi. Either way sony should just adopt a more straight forward naming scheme the 1 mark xxx seems weird. More importantly improve the software. it's the single biggest weakness of Xperia

C... moreIf you think that updates from Xiaomi or Samsung etc protect you 100% against attacks/hacks, you are an optimist. 99% of vulnerabilities and attacks require user intervention or direct access to the hardware. Xperia has 3 years security updates. My 5 years old XZ3 has no updates for 4 years and it works super fast and Im live extra fine with that :)

Simple answer. NO they can't. Because they dont have 4K 120fps recording. I'm not even asking for the HDR mode that 1V has in every fps mode. Xperia 1V is PRO phone.

Look for shots from the Xperia 1V (in 4K120fps HLG mode) and play it on the new 77-inch QD OLED and you'll jump out of your sneakers

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2023I don't think you've ever touched a lumia or a sony I had a bunch of sony devices. XZ premium was a beast however their mid range devices were complete tr*s* because of poor ram management. Even custom roms were unable to help the situation. Because of that more and more people moved to xiaomi, samsung mid range device section. And now with super high "flagship" prices sony is killing themselves.
Btw don't mention lumia ever again. Because you clearly don't know what are you talking about. All lumia devices worked amazing. Great battery, great and smooth animations. In general they were amazing. It's sad that no one was buying them and app selection were poor. But even then they killed all lumia phones some of their flagships received security updates. That's why even lumia phones were better. And sony doesn't give an f about you or other sony fanboys. 1400euros in europe for 2years of OS updates, bad auto mode, 0 features. Disgusting.

Bad software support, almost no accessories, almost impossible to buy in most countries where xiaomi, apple, samsung, vivo and similar brands are available, super high prices.
The only thing sony fanboys are constantly saying: "BuT iT HaS LsD MoDe". Man stf* no one cares about that. 90% percent people cares about OS updates, auto mode when taking pictures and phone features in general. Sony is far behind all the competition. Apple, samsung, xiaomi, oneplus, bla bla. Everyone is better for their price.

US (limited capacity, not through carriers), UK, some western Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.
In other words they are dying. They aren't even the most popular brand in Japan hahaha.
I'll come to roast you when they go bankrupt. They already started taking games from people. Sooner or later sony overpriced smartphones will be dead like HTC.
