Sony Xperia 1 V phone is the best flagman phone you can buy with 512 GB -1,5 TB memory.
It's almost all the way better even if you compare with iPhone 15 Pro Max. What have iPhone better:
1 photo in auto mode look more beautiful although not natural.
2 video in the dark scene.
3. Higher peek brightness of the screen.
4. Faster charging speed.
5. Longer OS support although new phone and soft releases slows down your phone which is never case with SONY.
Sony has better than iPhone:
1. Although sound is good on iPhone Sony managed to make it better.
2. Audio jack, which can be use as microphone as well.
3. Photos. Sony does not make unrealistic colors and tries to keep picture as natural as is. Check the gsmarena site snail picture and compare. Check for grey wall of the building up from the snail. All flagship phones except SONY on the right ending of grey part of the building draw rainbow which does not exist..
4. Video: Sony's all back cameras can make 4k 120 f/s video.
5. Android almost as clean as Google phone.
6. For gaming have special soft + you can change color balance, and more settings including ability to play from cable energy without damage for battery and reducing heat.
7. Have 2 standards for dust/water resistance IP65 and IP67.
8. No tool needed to open Nano Sim/memory card slot..
9. You can have 2 working sim cards (1 Nano + 1eSim) and put in additional memory card up to 1 TB (1 TB microSD card cost ~50$ at Amazon.com)
10. Screen is 4k and have enough brightness for sunny days.
11. Photo/video settings to make pictures/video are the best on the market.
12. Dedicated button for photography.

Finally this phone has more memory that any other flagman. Total memory of the phone with 1GB memory card is 1,25TB or 1,5TB.
When you are comparing other flagman phones you should compare the flagman with the best memory option to be somehow more close to Sony in terms of memory. So iPhone 15 Pro Max 1 TB - 1599 $, Samsung S23 Ultra 1 TB - 1820 $ and SONY Xperia 1 V with 1,5 TB is only 1050,- $. -so logically this is bargain for what you get. Sadly today there only few who think logically and buy SONY instead of Samsung or iPhone.

    2. have not objectively tested the battery, but it can last for a day... i usually charge in the morning, daily, regardless of the remaining percentage...

    3. i agree with the basic mode doing better (esp when i can only compare it to 1ii personally)... but i have been using the photo pro and cinema pro since 1ii... it gives you freedom to underexposed or overexposed, depends on what you want to convey... and playing with the shutter is good for lowlight+long exposures... it is more fun than point and shoot esp when you get the hang of it...

      and 15/15 plus is still 60hz, does not support always on, does not have a dedicated telephoto camera, has display cutout (good if that is your thing), unbalanced speakers, and you are considering the cheapest variant... a 256 variant of 1v is less expensive than 15/15 plus, non expansable either, no headphone jack...
      so, implicitly, you are suggesting an alternative which costs more for less capability...

          Hello, I'm from Mexico and my comment was made with Google Translate. An apology for that.

          I have had the cell phone for one week (XQ-DQ72) and my comments are the following:

          1. Screen: It's spectacular for watching movies in cinema format. However, I miss Sony's "Album" application since it was better than the current Google Photos application (My previous cell phone was the Xperia 1). The sound quality has improved and is heard louder and clearer than with my previous cell phone.

          2. The battery life is better than I expected. I've at least logged 6-7 hours of screen time when I've used it all day taking photos, videos and watching movies. The cell phone does not heat up like previous versions and you can record at least 30-minute videos without closing the application.

          3. In Photography, I can't say much since I don't know how to use manual modes but I'm watching tutorials to learn. What I can comment on is that they are very good even in basic mode.

          I don't know why people think without having tried Sony cell phones. I love them and their finishes are excellent compared to other phones on the market.

                                    Nice try. Everything is on YT. You cannot do anything about it :)
                                    I tested that phone on 30C (86F) degree (black color) and record 4K 120fps HDR HLG (there is no device on the market can do that). No one believe your spam and no one will put X on your comment - you will be reported. Thats all :)
                                    Simple question. Did you test 1V? SD card can record max 60fps SDR. It is normal that there is no microSD card that can handle H265@150mpbs 10-bit HLG. You need card minimum V90. I know that because I got professional camera that can do 4K120 all-intra 10-bit and 16-bit RAW video (I need card 800MB/s). SD card is for holding photos and simple videos, thats all.

                                        This phone is soooo overpriced. Even SD card speeds are absurd. Check XDA thread called "Internal file speed Vs SD card". Everything is worse on this phone compared to competitors for the same price. Even AlMiGhTy Sd CaRd speeds are super bad. Waste of money.
                                        It overheats more than any other snapdragon gen 2 CPU. Check XDA forum, especially thread "Does mk5 overheat to an any extent?". This phone is joke for it's price. DON'T SUPPORT OVERPRICED TECH

                                        Sony fan boys even more desperate than apple ones. They are living in forum and trying to convince everyone hOw GoOd tHiS OvErPrIcEd PhOnE Is. Worst OS support of all androids. Even xiaomi promised 4OS updates, 5 years security. And this overpriced tech "The majority of Sony phones come with two upgrades and two years of patches".
