Anonymous, 27 Oct 202399% of sony defenders here in gsmarena don't even use ... moresome of my friends and myself included prefer and use Xperia and yes it's a niche not many use it and that's the whole point of this Xperia's existence to us that don't want a Samsung or apple (I don't hate any phone brand) so you can cry about you're made up percentages.
Yes every phone has flaws of its own and Xperia is no exception to that. They just need to fix there software policy and camera's basic mode, maybe add custom DAC audio other than that it's literally on par with other flagships

99.9% of photographers and artists in the world prefer to use samsung/iphone and real cameras, not xperia.

But when they have a chance to buy it (their money is finally enough), they will buy the other brands like samsung or iphone.

I received my Xperia 1v two days before,and its absolutely fantastic in everyway, cameras is mind-blowing after xz2 premium,secreem gorgeous ,build quality great ,overall after long term ago Sony release it's original quality for which he known

And lots of use are vulnerable during the days/weeks in-between updates.

justasmile, 17 Oct 2023But they're most likely very laggy, and data in it is ... moreI understand and am deeply aware that older phones have a higher risk of cybersecurity and data threats as they are no longer updated with the newest security patches, but I did my best not to do something that would trigger the cybersecurity and data threats on my Z5, XZ, and XZ Premium, as I used 1 II for almost everything daily.
All electronics will become less responsive time after time, and I'm deeply aware of it. Both my Xperia Z5 and XZ do show their age lately with becoming less responsive, but they're not unusable. They're still usable to my expectations as tertiary devices. Combination of Snapdragon 810/820 and eMMC 5.0 and 5.1 tech that's far behind, so it does spell it out. However, as for my XZ Premium, it's still responsive as I remember due to having the combination that I could say is enough, which is Snapdragon 835 and UFS 2.1.

I want to buy a Sony smartphone so much, but then I remember how I have bought a PlayStation from the US and the guarantee wasn't valid in Europe. So tough luck, Sony!

Yeah... morePersonally I don't like an ugly hole in my screen or a generic looking square camera cutout on the back and about the screen it's literally one of the best out their (proven fact) as for support it's as they advertise you get all the updates until the cutoff point although definitely they need to provide longer updates

Display: RIght, Sony should use the same old 1080p display as other phones, no other phones offer 4k
Camera: Its not for 15 year old girls like you who want to post on IG and Tiktok

On YT is everything but not in places that you think it should be. Most reviews even dont scratch surface of Xperia 1 V. If you want true about low light type Low Light 4K samples | Xperia 1V

Let me ask you something: does MicroSD needs WiFi to access your stuff? The answer is no, MicroSD doesn't emit nor receive a signal similar to WiFi, Bluetooth or anything, it just connects to your phone (of course it's undeniable that people when they see mass storage at a way cheaper price than reputable brands, they'll just buy it only to be hacked but it's easily solved by not trusting brands that might seem suspicious or unknown (SanDisk is a reputable brand, so is Lexar, but everyone has to be careful when choosing from a brand so looking them up only wastes a couple of minutes that will save you from getting hacked or your files getting deleted (it also applies to phones you would find on AliExpress that are cheap counterfeits of actual phones))
