Thats my point of view. I remeber 2 years ago one user here argued with me and posted modified photos from 5II (photos made on manual mode with exposure +1.5 - he thought it couldn't be checked, probably. He was wrong.

For some reason, users have a tendency to come here and hate on the product, whereas there is an entire market of other manufacturers that would meet their needs for less money.

    For us who buy Sony phones (I am using this one in particular) we spend the money for specific features we need/want, whether that's photography, audio, or general media oriented. I fail to understand why people hate it so much when they can go spend their money elsewhere.

For example Camera photos and Offline playlists for Spotify. Read speed 190 MB/sec is enough for that... and a 256 GB Sandisk Extreme micro SDXC is dirt cheap.

But for Sony fans, including myself, those features are crucial, including MicroSDXC, the shutter button, and those professional apps like Photo Pro or Cinema Pro that mimics Sony Alpha and CineAlta in smaller form. This site has said it all the time for 3 years now about Xperia's niche status. You just ignored them. I mean, didn't you see how distraught Sony fans were that the notification LED was no longer in the Xperia lineup since the Mark 5 and that other phone brand fans may have found it nothing special? This is considering how niche Sony Xperia phones are in the market because they have pleased very certain people only with those features, and those people aren't you. Plus, people who are buying the Sony Xperia are just like those who bought specific, limited hypercars like the Mercedes AMG-One or Pagani Utopia. Those SUVs that are abundant in the market and that are analogized by phone brands like Xiaomi, Transsions, or Samsung don't cut it for the Sony Xperia audience.

Some users still have mp4 audio in high quality, some shots many photos daily etc and SD card is nice to have.
            Maybe other brands have better stuff but 1V have EmxorT and it is pretty awesome :)
            I was shocked how amazing this device is. Its like true old Sony.

But if you going to insist Sony doesn't have any merits on its flagship over Xiaomi, you're totally out of your mind. I could list anything you only can find in Sony flagships right now:
                  -3.5mm headphone jack
                  - MicroSDXC expandable storage slot
                  - 4K@120fps all camera video recording
                  - Front stereo speakers
                  - Shutter button
                  - Professional apps baked in, full-fledge, four of them!
                  - toolless SIM slot
                  - 30fps AF/AE burst
                  etc.
                  I could go all days listing features that is Sony exclusive.

                    fk, 22 Sep 2023the microphone capability is not only for talking to other ... moreThis is one of the reasons why I'll die on a hill defending the 3.5, because sure, you could get a splitter to USBC to charge and connect your headphones but shouldn't like phones have them by default? Also, if anyone wants to come at me with the sad excuse of "sPaCe CoNsTrAiNtS" the Vivo X5 Max is around 4.75mm thick and yet it has a full size headphone jack and a MicroSD slot. Same goes for removable batteries, the Samsung Galaxy S5 had the ability to be submersible and removing it's battery was TOOLESS.

Also, I don't care if it makes more cable clutter, eventually you'll sell the phone WITH the charger. People these days flex on having the least amount of things on their stuff because "mInImAlIsM" "oUtDaTeD tEcH" "eCoLoGy" (last one is a lie, you ain't saving the world by not having a charger inside, you make the client responsible for it). What's next?:
                      "Oooh, my phone is cooler because it doesn't have a charging port"
                      "No, but mine is cooler because it doesn't even have a screen"
                      "Oh please, mine is the coolest because it doesn't exist"
                      Jesus Christ get a grip on life, also to the people who are spreading about the MicroSD stuff, I'm a data hoarder so I don't care at all about speeds.

You can argue that the usb-c connector does that as well. That is true , but you are loosing then the possibility to have the phone been connected to a power source or other OTG devices.
                        I always say, the more ports the better.

Most commonly used for connecting a pair of stereo headphones to your smartphone to listen music, see videos or playing games. Dependent on the headphones can also include a microphone to to be able to talk to other people.

Like, how are you going to convince Sony Xperia users to use Xiaomi when both has a very day and night differences of target market and audience, especially those who are deeply into Sony ecosystem like me? It's like saying you are dissuading the buyers who want to buy Aston Martin Valhalla V8 hypercar and instead buy a Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 because it's much cheaper and better value than the Valhalla, when in fact both of those markets of those cars are so different just because both cars have V8 engines on their sleeve? I mean, Valhalla have something that Chevy C8 Z06 didn't have, and those buyers are willing to pay more just to have something that Valhalla has over the C8 Z06.
