Anonymous, 02 Oct 2023Weekly reminder for not blind people, not arrogant sony pra... moreIts funny because I tested it at 30 degrees Celsius in the shade (40 degrees Celsius in the sun) and I record video @4K120fps with HDR (!) (for about 1-1.5hour with stops) and never overheats (it was warm). I got everything on video, what you got?
PS Turn off Eye tracking in camera and temp will be lower.
How you verify users on XDA forum? With words?

    Weekly reminder for not blind people, not arrogant sony praising for anything people(same as apple).

    This phone is soooo overpriced. Even SD card speeds are absurd. Check XDA thread called "Internal file speed Vs SD card". Everything is worse on this phone compared to competitors for the same price. Even AlMiGhTy Sd CaRd speeds are super bad. Waste of money.
    It overheats more than any other snapdragon gen 2 CPU. Check XDA forum, especially thread "Does mk5 overheat to an any extent?". This phone is joke for it's price. DON'T SUPPORT OVERPRICED TECH

    Sony fan boys even more desperate than apple ones. They are living in forum and trying to convince everyone hOw GoOd tHiS OvErPrIcEd PhOnE Is. Worst OS support of all androids. Even xiaomi promised 4OS updates, 5 years security. And this overpriced tech "The majority of Sony phones come with two upgrades and two years of patches".

          I agree that there are cheaper phones out there that offer the same performance as this particular device. If we use a car analogy, both a VW and a Ferrari will get you from point A to point B, and there is an fantastic difference in price. However, there is a difference in the experience you will enjoy with both cars, and it is the same with the phones.

          There is an element of actual quality that goes beyond what you can see on the spec sheet - the technology behind the display manufacturing, the quality and the tuning of the speakers, the materials and the process of creating the framework of the phone... There are so many intricate details that you refuse to pay attention to, or haven't had the experience of using the phone to be able to pay attention to, or ultimately - you are plain ignorant (which happens at a young age due to lack of knowledge and/or experience)

          I am writing this, not to insult you, but to maybe hope that you can open your mind a little and embrace life and knowledge, rather than spam vague comments on a weekly basis (it's a professional hazard, I am a university professor).

          So please, understand that there are people out there who will have an opinion different from yours, and even if you do not understand it, no one is forcing it upon you, and this is a really good phone that is priced for what it is and what it offers, and I, personally, would not use any other one, even if given for free.

This phone is is more targeted for a niche market, which some people still appreciate the features n design of Xperia phones. You can complain its overpriced, not have what samsung or xiaomi have bleh bleh bleh. Then again, did anyone or Sony force you to buy Xperias? No. Its your money. You dont like it, you can look somewhere else.

They are probably competitors' employees or psychofans of a certain game console. Thats my point of view. I remeber 2 years ago one user here argued with me and posted modified photos from 5II (photos made on manual mode with exposure +1.5 - he thought it couldn't be checked, probably. He was wrong.

For some reason, users have a tendency to come here and hate on the product, whereas there is an entire market of other manufacturers that would meet their needs for less money.

                          For us who buy Sony phones (I am using this one in particular) we spend the money for specific features we need/want, whether that's photography, audio, or general media oriented. I fail to understand why people hate it so much when they can go spend their money elsewhere.

For example Camera photos and Offline playlists for Spotify. Read speed 190 MB/sec is enough for that... and a 256 GB Sandisk Extreme micro SDXC is dirt cheap.

But for Sony fans, including myself, those features are crucial, including MicroSDXC, the shutter button, and those professional apps like Photo Pro or Cinema Pro that mimics Sony Alpha and CineAlta in smaller form. This site has said it all the time for 3 years now about Xperia's niche status. You just ignored them. I mean, didn't you see how distraught Sony fans were that the notification LED was no longer in the Xperia lineup since the Mark 5 and that other phone brand fans may have found it nothing special? This is considering how niche Sony Xperia phones are in the market because they have pleased very certain people only with those features, and those people aren't you. Plus, people who are buying the Sony Xperia are just like those who bought specific, limited hypercars like the Mercedes AMG-One or Pagani Utopia. Those SUVs that are abundant in the market and that are analogized by phone brands like Xiaomi, Transsions, or Samsung don't cut it for the Sony Xperia audience.

Some users still have mp4 audio in high quality, some shots many photos daily etc and SD card is nice to have.
                                  Maybe other brands have better stuff but 1V have EmxorT and it is pretty awesome :)
                                  I was shocked how amazing this device is. Its like true old Sony.

But if you going to insist Sony doesn't have any merits on its flagship over Xiaomi, you're totally out of your mind. I could list anything you only can find in Sony flagships right now:
                                        -3.5mm headphone jack
                                        - MicroSDXC expandable storage slot
                                        - 4K@120fps all camera video recording
                                        - Front stereo speakers
                                        - Shutter button
                                        - Professional apps baked in, full-fledge, four of them!
                                        - toolless SIM slot
                                        - 30fps AF/AE burst
                                        etc.
                                        I could go all days listing features that is Sony exclusive.
