Have you tried another camera app? It might be able to select 21:9 or 2.35:1 (same).

thedeev1, 11 May 2023Bruh thats tablet sized aint no way 7in 16:9 is fitting in ... moreToday's phones are around 80mm wide to be used one handed.

Try to find anything between 85-125mm wide. There isn't anything out there. It's just a huge void in the market. You'd think there would be at least one or two products but nope.

I'm still using my 91mm wide Honor Note 8 today. It's like 6 years old. My dream is to get something 90 - 100mm wide. I like the screen estate that comes with it (ultra productive) and yes it fits in my pockets. I'm not a big person either at 175cm/70kg.

Tomio, 12 May 2023That myth has been dispelled over and over again, and besid... moreYeah, it was debunked long time ago, but only with what companies told us, no certification for impact on the battery longevity, only for battery safety which is really great to know that batteries won't implode, but that's not what people want to know. Now, why would they pay only for one certification on RUV Rheinland and brag with that info on every Oppo's and other BBK sub-brands sites? It all depends on us and what we personally believe more, because they could gave us a valid certification but it's better if they do the testing internally and brag with imposable promises. And also, does it makes sense to you that Samsung as a largest hardware company for small electronic parts would have 240W adapter on their laptops but not on their phones? The company which uses every shot they got to boost their sales with BIG numbers? No, I don't believe that. Also, with their longer software support a power brick with so much power is not a great deal if you want to have phone for longer, because there is no guarantee how's battery gonna perform in 3 or 4 years of use. And yes, some people want to have a same phone for that long.

          Cheers!

i am glad sony made step forward, away from that outdated, crappy 12mp 1/1.7" main sensor. finally a larger sensor with the benefit of binning.

Kast thing we really want and need is to end with an very updated phone by software but with an very outdated hardware which could not keep up with latest software.
Such outdated hardware is good for laggs, bugs, freezes, heating issues etc.
If i ever would need a phone for just GSM services i would buy Nokia 105, 230 or something where battery will last 7-10 days on a charge unlike your desired Sony Xperia which is already 7 or so years old have maybe 2500 or 3000 mAh cell and you are happy if it last 2 days on standby and ultra saving mode.
