There were... moreMan are u mad hatter right, xperia quality is so amazing, the only downgrade i will accept about this phone is the face recognition and the poor android updates, but for me this is not a big deal, im telling you i have android 10 device and a android 14 device and is basically the same, and the only thing i worry about is the face recognition but at the end of the day is not a deal breaker for me.

There were HTC, LG, microsoft lumia. They all were great but competition offered much better deals. Same goes with sony. Sony wants a lot of bucks for device that doesn't compete with others. You can get oneplus 12 16GB/512GB version for 750 bucks. 4 OS updates, 5 years of security, decent camera, aqua touch, IR blaster, brighter screen(helps ir direct sunlight), 100w charging(charger included in the box), case included in the box. When oneplus releases much better deal you have to think what are you doing wrong lol.

I can guarantee anyone life if you ever took blind screen test you wouldn't notice if it's 4k, 2k or good quality 1080p on such small body.

The screen on the Sony Xperia 1 v is “ on next level “ especially in comparison with the iPhone and Samsung 23. If you or anyone is in dental regarding this then perhaps a visit to the optometrist is required or have never witnessed the seeing the 4K content.

This is the best phone if you don't know how to spend your money wisely. Gimmicky worthless 4k screen on 6.5 inches, worst auto camera mode of any flagship 2023, worst portraits of all 2023 flagships, one of the slowest charging capabilities, worst accessories selection of all flagships, godly 2years of OS updates and 3 years of security(worst of all flagships) and price going toe to toe with xiaomi, samsung, google, iphone flagships. Jeez what a combo of wasted money. But it has sony logo on top of the screen that's why it's worth to buy and some kind of LSD video mode which is worse than iphone auto(if it's so good people would be more sony :ppp )

I purchased the Sony Xperia 1 v from affordable mobiles for £700 brand new and £17 for 02 SIM card - combined phone+SIM less than £1200. So...... I can't complain. This phone is amazing - takes better photos than iPhone and Samsung 23 but you have to take time to master the photo app that comes with it. Watching 4k stuff is great from Sony's bravia core. Shame Netflix does not support 4k on this phone. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Whatever liked manufacturer releases there are people obsessed with their production. However it's absurd to pay over 1000 dollars and receive pretty much bad auto camera mode, only guaranteed 2 years of OS upgrades and gimmicky battery hog 4k screen on 6.5 inch screen.
