the only issue is the screen flickering sometimes... but the overall experience is fabulous

The only thing that is going on for Sony is microsd slot. Inferior camera, buggy os and poor build quality... what are you thinking Sony?! Not only that, they have the nerve to charge people an extortionate amount of money for a 1080P device! Try harder Sony!

Ad. 3 How many people wait 3 years for a new phone? Some old people?
And sentence "It's the best for people who doesn't understand technology" is IMHO really stupid. You must f.e. understand how to use photo app in manual mode. Go and buy overpriced crappy iPhone somewhere else.

I love the phone for its premium but practical design. It's an absolute joy to pick up and use. I honestly can't think of a phone with a better design. The main camera might not be the best in class, but I'm not an avid photographer anyway. Everything ticks the box for me: No notch, front-facing stereo speakers, solid haptics, color-accurate 120hz display, SD card, 3.5mm jack. Also, it's manufactured in Thailand, not China like 99% of phones.

I doubt you can say it's the best. I can name 3 things easily what will catch every shopper eyes who has some knowledge about IT.
1. Super duper pricey.
2. 30W cable charging in 2024.
3. Only 3 major OS updates(for it's price it's horrible).
It's the best for people who doesn't understand technology maybe, but I thought those people are buying apple production

I have this phone since 2 days. Pero cannot write much, except some fresh observations.
1. No longer 19:1 dimesnion rate is good.
2. Lack of notification diode is bad.
3. In comparission to S24 Ultra all hi-res BT codecs are present (3,5 mm jack also).
4. No charger or even USB cable within the box - Japanese bean counters still following pseudo-eco trends.

Had this phone for 6 days now, it's easily the best phone I have ever had
The wide camera is the single best phone camera I have ever used out of the OP12, S24ultra and Xiaomi 14. It performs well in any condition although it's struggles just like every other phone in low light but it still gets good shots, the telephoto and uw take great photos in good light but in low light they are very bad, the macro shots are also incredible it's insane.
Battery life is not a lie, charged thrice so far, every other day to 80% which takes like 40-50 minutes starting around 20% battery.
scored 1622k on antutu v10, runs everything at 60fps max settings including genshin, gets warm after like 10 minutes but never hot like for example the xiaomi 14. Storage is also UFS 4.X according to antutu.
The display is beautiful, the only one that compares is the OP12 and not because of resolution because I litteraly can't tell the difference but because of colors and brightness, the 120Hz is smooth and working as intended.
The single best thing though is the design, the bezels are like 3-4mm each and bring about huge benefits, when consuming media or playing games the display feels bigger than even the OP12 and S24 because of no camera bump, the stereo speakers are also the best sounding ones I have ever had in a phone, I've played arcaea for 3 hours straight just to enjoy that sound. It's crazy to me people and manufacturers prefer a notch because the benefits are crazy good (no bump, front facing speakers) with the only "demerit" being small bezels at the top and bottom which to me are even pretty. The physical shutter button is also incredibly fun to use, truly an under rated aspect. The phone itself is slim and fits nicely into the hands, the grip will also ensure you never drop it, the camera bump is small and neat. Overall the phone looks and feels great and naturally you also get an awesome 3.5mm jack alongside micro SD support. The fingerprint reader works great, no complaints.
TLDR it's the best phone on the market but it does cost a fortune

I buy Xperia for textured, grippy design, no notch, headphone jack, SD card, and designed in Japan, made in Thailand :)

You can buy widely oneplus for 610euros. Giztop, dhgate and so on. Warranty, same software bla bla. Be smart and save money, you don't need to buy from overpriced resellers :)

Second off 3 OS and 4 security updates is enough, it's not the most but it's enough (2 and 3 was truly bad tho). And I've actually had the OP 12, S24 ultra, Xiaomi 14 and XP 5 V prior. None of them are as good as the Xperia 1 VI which I intend to keep for atleast those 4 years it's getting supported for (I liked the XP 5V > OP12 > Xiaomi 14 > S24 ultra)
