All objective reviews that I know agreed that Xperia 1 VI design is one of its strongest point, because of both its form (designed well, no notch, no intrusive parts, minimalistic yet maximalistic) and functional (ergonomically well-griped with its back tactical blister mesh and rigged pattern despite being flat, buttons in right position, proper sensors and selfie camera uninterrupted, front-firing full stage stereo speakers, 3.5mm jack, toolless SIM tray).

I've noticed gsmarena exist few months ago. You think you are smart there but with your facts I doubt you understand that many people think sony is absurd company lol. If you think I'm some kind of old "hater". I'm new one and I agree with those you are referring to. One day you'll realize your mistakes purchasing overpriced products :P

Xperia since 1IV have 4K120fpsHDR (now on all lenses) with HLG mode (HLG means BT2020, it is color space that even hi-end OLED monitor cannot achive in 100%; HLG "transports" HDR up to 5000cd/m2 EOTF). Xperia can record Video in future color space, something that most brands will have but in future. HLG is UK/JPN tech.
There is more functions.. like disconnect battery while gaming, monitor app for Alpha, streaming feature for Alpha cameras, linear video editing App, SD, jack, no holes in display, shutter button (!) that is very usefull when you want start slow motion video with movement and smaprthone is near to the ground, Pro apps for Video (only on 1V/5V).

Sony will remain as long as their target audience remain. There are still people who aren't brainwashed into buying phones without headphone jack. Not to mention microSD card, uninterrupted display, front facing stereo etc. Unfortunately this creates a monopoly in this market and Sony price it however they like. But those looking for above features have no other choice. Basically Sony has almost no competition in the segment of smartphone market they operate. Wish others would also make phones like Sony.

1. Pro manual camera, so much better than the competition;
2. Continuous (real, that is, mechanical!) optical zoom;
3. Telephoto macro (true, Huawei Pura 70 offers something similar and equally impressive);
4. Insane battery life;
5. The most beautiful display panel out there (of course, this is up to a point a matter of taste) with... tadaaa... no cutouts, dinamic island or other similarly branded failures to integrate the front facing camera in the phone.
For other features, search this post, I've written extensively about my experience with this phone. The major minus is the price though. The phone is expensive.
Secondly, the problem of popularity: this year, Sony has outed 2 models, last year 3. Samsung around 80. The company is obviously not interested in becoming a relevant player in this segment (it was for a few years, back in the Sony-Ericsson days) as far as the terminals go. On the other side, most of the flagships out there, including Apple and Samsung, use Sony sensors. So the features you're taking about are based on Sony products. This should make you reconsidere your choice of words.

Sadly name "Sony" is not a better package because this phone doesn't have anything over the most popular brands in the world. Even google is more popular worldwide. Why? Because they are offering more features, way better software support for example :)). You don't need marketing if you have amazing device. But sadly your beloved "better" phone is dying in most markets. And the reason because there are way better phones out there :))).

For example: vivo, oppo, oneplus, xiaomi, asus, google for example. So you don't need to touch the two the most popular phone brands in the world to feel premium and have more features than sony.

Sony did not learn in the manufacture of phones. The old geniuses died. Let's start. You have heat problems in your phone. You still have them despite users' complaints. You are indifferent. The solution is easy. Change the back from glass to an aluminum foil cover. 2 screen contain blackness and need to be dusted with white, like the other
