Anonymous, 16 May 2024 the mark 1 series usually has a 4k screen, so im guessing ... morenvm, apparently they just stopped putting 4k screens on phones. so expect the 5 VI to be powered by either a Snapdragon 7/7+ Gen 3 this year.

Not seeing why this is better than Honor Magic6 Pro. Sure the front facing speakers, notchless display and great zoom camera speaks for them selves but other than those not seeing this worth almost 1400€

They could have gone with 1440p. 1080p is too much of a downgrade from 4k. When everyone was at 1080p they were 4k. Now everyone is going 1440p and they are downgrading to 1080p. Doesn't make sense.

There is no information about the UFS storage type! I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is 3.1 or perhaps even less knowing how they work at Sony

So Sony went from more than 600 ppi density to less than 400. From the best ever smartphone screen to average and still wants for that more than £ 1000. Fu..ing joke and nothing else.

I'm a little confused, i tought that the main camera had both a 24mm and a 48mm lens?
Am i missing something? It semms that the 2x samples are really just digital 2x zoom using the full 48mp sensor rather than using a specific lens, is the Xperia 1 VI supposed to have both a 24mm and a 48mm lens on the main cam or not?

ARA007, 15 May 2024I suggest Sony think more about the price in order to sell ... moreEither they lower the price, or they should make an effort to bump up their specs more. Like much faster charging, bigger sensors for their telephoto. And give it a 1.5K screen at the very least.
