Why 1080p???? Suck 2k better reduce from 4k

    JSK888, 15 May 2024Have you seen DJ Marshmello, DJ Alan Walker, Ariana Grande,... moreor they have a limited budget, are not full-on audio professionals, just a hobbyists/enthusiast, and simply cannot afford pro gear. Calling someone a nerd as an insult is a cheap shot. I hate wireless audio, but that does not mean I would bash someone who does or has a niche requirement or even just a damn preference. Your logic is no better here. "Hey dude, here's some multimillionaire vocal artist that doesn't have anything to do with codecs or audio engineering that doesn't use a middle-class average Joe with a hobby kind of use case so I'm gonna be ignorant and call them nerds cause that makes me cool in my head."

      I see no reason to upgrade from my Sony Xperia 1 II. I would have bought this phone if it had the 21:9 aspect ratio and 4K display. What a disappointment.

                  For me, the red magic pro 9 with 16gb of ram and 512 of storage is still much cheaper than the base model of this phone, and has better specs.

                    if even the last fews thousand sony fanboys are not amused, sony should really overthink their decisions. But Im convinced there are still people buying it, only to be able to say "SONY is the greatest!". We will see.

                        Just a heads up, the red colour is officially called Scarlet.

                          How on earth is this an "upgrade"? There's like 41% less pixels in the screen for a start. CPU is only about 5-8% faster and it has WiFi 7 but all Xperia models have the worst WiFi performance anyway.

                          I will be keeping my Xperia 1 V. Almost no improvement or change to the camera either except slight improvement to optical zoom beyond 3.5x.

                          It feels like Sony mislabeled this and it should be the 10 VI not 1 VI. I wouldn't have even bothered making this phone. Sorry Sony, I can't support this.

                            If only Sony had called it Xperia 5 VI and priced it at 999€. This would have been the best smartphone in the world.

                                  Guapo22, 16 May 2024comment section it's craz...😂From one side you have the "why would anyone buy this fecal matter, I love my Samsung" guys and from the other (even worse) side you have the "I'm not buying a 1080p bs, muh QHD".

                                  The phone is not bad in any regard but the price, that is the angle we should be viewing it. Instead, you get all these croodbrains whining about a resolution (be it QHD or 4k) that they use 0.1% of the time. Strange times.

                                      I'm not buying because of the display resolution. I was actually planing to.
                                      There are many 400 euros phones out there with greater, 1.5k resolution displays. I can not believe they just did that.
                                      Huge disappointment!
