Positive:
+ Stable and fast
+ Good battery life compared to pixel 5
+ Good Signal
+ Descent camera and post processing, although a bit outdated for the price
+ Good build quality everything is very tight
Negative:
- Too large, I would appreciate 5.5 size for midranger, I can't keep it in pants
- Slippery and frequently slides from hands or surfaces
- Proximity sensor is not good and often leads to ear clicks in cold conditions
- Price is too high, though I gladly paid it as there is no competition
- Default bumper is freakingly expensive

No NVME SSD
no 4k display
It's the compact off the 1iii, doesn't mean it should lose its features, even though I payed £780 in UK

Unfortunately, this phone won't be available in Italy, so I'm wondering: if I buy one in the UK would it work in Italy considering network frequencies and such?

I was hesitating to buy this phone as I was a fan of previous Sony compact phones and this one is not quite compact and pretty expensive. Nevertheless I did it and do not regret at all - the phone is a killer, super fast, with good battery life and surprisingly - the 21:9 aspect ratio feels amazing and natural, I would never switch back to wider phones. It is light, really comfortable and fits my pocket. I don't get what people are expecting of phone cameras nowadays, but having this powerful camera set in my pocket is a privilege. All the 4 focal lenghts do great job, telephoto camera does good shots in both focal lengths and you can really optimize picture quality in manual modes. As the phone possesses a Snapdragon 888 chipset, it really does heat in certain situations, but not overheat at all. No perfect smartphone exists, but for this dimension, I guess this is the best I could buy and I am happy I did. Good job, Sony!

Love this phone. No problem with mine overheating. It's very fast and compact. Battery life is great. My only issue is this phone does not connect to wifi after the initial setup. I have unlimited data so I can live with it. Sony's customer service is non existent for help.
