Also, Sony phones are usually released 2-3 months after announcement. Early summer = July or August. Happy waiting.

Sony, please, make your price and availability ok... I waited for months for xperia 5 II. seeing the launching price, I laughed... Then too I waited, and the phone never reached my region.

And the volume keys are used for camera zoom, and one can't be used as shutter button. Very few phone software these days rely on hardware keys because it's easier development wise to just have a software button on the touch screen.

I was waiting for this announcement. I will continue this years with my galaxy s9 and hope the price will fall at 600-700€ in the 2022 Q1 or before with cashback

Unique screen and aspect options, unique sound options, unique gaming options, unique photography and cinematography options, unique battery managment.
Search a bit into all of these, dont just patronise by default.
The promo is actually sufficient to ackowledge what they charge for here.

As well, what's the matter when and with Sony keeping the 3.5mm & MicroSDXC slot around when others are discontinuing the feature, just because you prefer the In-display FPS over those two essential features? For some people, 3.5mm & MicroSDXC slots are valued better than in-display FPS, especially when this Xperia caters more to the community than ever. You have other options than 5 III if you prefer In-display FPS. And for the price, well what do you expect? 500 Euro price for a flagship that almost ticks all the features that most OEMs flagships don't serve it anymore?

I mean World's first 360 Reality Audio from within it's front speakers, World's first variable telephoto lens and Dual PD across all of its lens! Headphone Jack, I mean it might not be a big deal with BT headsets but everyone knows wired headphones are better, and carrying a dongle is far from being "appropriate" replacement as it can easily be lost or broken as compared to in built! Then comes the Pro modes, I get it you guys compare it to the Iphones and computational photography but sony isn't that "follower" company, what I mean is everyone hates them just because they are off the trend. The photo pro app and cinema pro app, if given to a good photographer can result in a way better photo/video than the Iphones can! Afterall sony is among the best specially in terms of their mirorless cameras right? What is my point, well simple, people critiques them because they compare it with what it does have and not with what it has!

felt like vomiting when I saw the price. 930eu dang. not even a in display fp scanner. just camera camera camera. probably charging to provide the dying 3.5 jack and micro sd slot.
