Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is fabricated by Samsung, is known to produce a lot of heat when compared with TSMC fabricated ones. This is not a speculation, but is a known fact.

i have the exact same phone, great battery life, doesnt overheat at all, i use spotify, youtube, browsing and tiktok a lot, maybe yours is faulty unit.... idk haha
