if sony ever manages to bring a smartphone to the market again and not a frying pan i will buy sony again because otherwise it has everything i would want, headphone jack, SD card slot and NO super stupid curved screen...
@ SONY, how about you finally develop and install a decent processor cooling system and not just lower the clock speed of the processor?

There should only be xperia 1 v and 10 v next year. 10 being the smaller lighter low specd one compared to this year and 1 being the big bulky advanced one compared to this year. Thats the only way they can set right enough price i guess. Ideal length of 10 series could be capped at 145mm and for 1 series it could be capped at 155mm. There is really not need to make a 3rd phone. The market is already saturated. Only USP of sony is to bring old n modern features both in a single compact smartphone. There's no other reason any non camerabuff would consider buying a Sony today.

in near about 1 lac i get this shit, even display is is not full..
i recommend everyone if the display is like this then go Samsung J7...hahahah

Band 71... I dont believe this one doesnt have it ,its possible theres not enough or complete info regarding network support as of now.
If x1 iv supports band71 and they infact share same proccesor(thus same modem) then there's no reason to drop suppport for that band.

Just 3 months to go till 2023 yet Sony still using old overheating samsung fabbed sd8 gen1 specially on this compact phone priced at 1k+ with no cable or charger.
They will probably use old SD8 Gen1+ next year when a newer better soc arrives by then.

The size and features with SD card slot and headphone plug is exactly what I would want, but still unfortunately lacks a usable processor with a usable processor cooling system and the internal memory should be 512GB.

The quality is good. I dropped this phone many times and I didn't care about that. I have just few scratches because of key, but they are minors, you can see just under light. Battery life now is short ( around +;- 8 hrs YouTube and social media) but I used very hardly the phone so I don't complain. Next phone will be definitely Sony.

That base model 8/128GB 1k price is a joke! Old Overheating sd8gen 1 & no cable or charger in the box!
Really hope they stop making phone altogether!
