All my previous Sony Xperia have had horrible battery life longevity. On top of bad software support. Sony is the perfect example of Android manufacturers not giving a rats behind after the sale and beyond the spec sheet.

goes in a good direction. Flat screen without holes is great and the headphone jack too. 256gb without the possibility to upgrade by sd is a dealbreaker. 21:9 is too wide, Good for people who watch action movies but bad for people who do some work on their phone. If Sony would add Stylus support and rectangular screen corners (rounded corners could be added by software so that everyone gets what they like in terms of rounded corners) I would buy one...

Real "SONY" phones, from Sony Electronics starts from Xperia 1II (from that phone Xperia brand is part of Sony Electronics department). For me real magic phone is Xperia PRO-I. That video recording at night and slo motion 120fps @4K is super addictive. Even my friends with Samsung and iPhone want to play with that phone.

if sony ever manages to bring a smartphone to the market again and not a frying pan i will buy sony again because otherwise it has everything i would want, headphone jack, SD card slot and NO super stupid curved screen...
@ SONY, how about you finally develop and install a decent processor cooling system and not just lower the clock speed of the processor?
