iNith, 01 Sep 2022wish next generations are growing up from 12mp Thats the only good resolution (12mpx) for that size of sensor, without Quad Bayer. True RGB sensors are faster, thats why Xperia 1IV, 5IV and PRO-I has such amazing slo-motion 4K 120fps HDR video mode. Videography app give you 4K rec, 120p slo-mo 4K rec, 120fps superfluid mode (CineProApp too) and even you can change shutter, iso settings while you recording. 4K120p rec slo mo is for me a game changer.

Crazy good specs, quality manufacturing, and premium support. But the Snapdragon CPU will become a headache with constant security patches needed.

Sigh, I will never be able to afford a Sony phone with their crazy luxurious pricings, but I'll always be a fan of them as long as Sony keeps sticking to its roots.

Do ppl really think this is a good phone? I'm very confused. $1000 dollars, 9 month old processor(10 months by the time this phone is actually available), performance drops to 50% within the first minute of sustained usage, doesn't even have full support of LTE bands, It's only redeeming factor is the battery life but you can get the same kinda battery life experience from the zenfone 9 which has the new processor, has full LTE band support, and costs significantly less...I guess the cameras on this are better..

This is a $1000 phone just for the BASE storage, Sony. At least make it somewhat perform like a $1000 phone.

great phone ... not selling in Indonesia, and the govt requires the principal to have local representative office and support to register the imei for local network operation ... cant buy from overseas ... come on Sony ...

What I like though is the fact that it's an actual relatively square display while making room for the sensors.
