Has the company changed policies? I seem to have nowhere to go with Huawei backing off their homegrown OS (outside China) to avoid making global audience cry.
To hell with Android versions. Just security updates will be enough.

And how did you last that long on the X? I had my GNote 3 for 7 years but not as a main phone in 2020.

Were consider... moreI've had the Zenfone 10 since August, and had 1 maybe 2 software problems, both of which have been fixed. Now I'm also currently on October patch which is a bit unfortunate but I genuinely don't think Sony would be much better here.
Right now everything just works great for me.

Were considering Asus Zenfone 10 for time, since it is 1cm shorter, but from what I read their software has more problems and 0 support. So now the decision stands between Xperia 5 V and just sticking to my Compact X for one or 2 more years (it already has 6 years).

"Oh and I had to pay €80 expenses for handling and inspection because there is no error."
In with country? Services in my never take money for inspection on warranty.

The only reason I use them was GrapheneOS if you don't care, use Facebook ect. Get Sony it will be better experience, and if you care a bit ;) just install RethinkDNS app, learn how to use and you are good to go.

Bought one. Top speaker started to buzz after two weeks in use. Sent it back by warranty. And guess what... Let me copy/paste - "The product has been inspected according to the manufacturer's instructions. No errors have been identified in this regard. If the error occurs again, it is recommended that the device be resubmitted with documentation of the error. Such documentation may include screenshots of the error." Oh and I had to pay €80 expenses for handling and inspection because there is no error. Manufacturer instructions to turn the sound on and listen for a bad speaker??? Screenshot of the buzzing sound??? Wtf!?
Convenient narrow design of the phone. Shitty quality and customer service. Sony should stick to subcontracting phone parts like sensor etc.

Help me decide you guys... Pixel 7a vs 5v. Coming from Pixel 4a now. And 3a before that. Been with Sony up until these Pixels. Now I'm hesitating.
Found the file transfer between Pixels extremely pleasent (changing old phone to new). You just plug it in and the systems do the rest! How will this work Pixel to Sony? In my country Pixel now is 300€ and the Sony is 600€. Thank you!

You can sell large units of a phone and still make a loss on each one. Conversely, you can still reach breakeven or reap profit even if you only sell a phone in a limited batch of units.

Nord 3 is more of an affordable flagship to rival the likes of Xiaomi 12T/13T series and Honor 90 Pro. Nonetheless, the Xperia has a better camera than the Nord 3, so go for it if you always focus on the camera. If you care more about having a large screen, super fast wired charging, and don't mind using a MediaTek SoC, then the Nord 3 is worth considering.
