I jst bought this phone and I found it stunning frm the design to the features but the best thing is its performance the battery is kinda perfect it stays for 40 hour of playing music and internet work I jst charged it for 6 hour before using but now I am charging it for 1 hour and 35 minutes and its FuLL . The track ID is perfect and about if its water proof or not actuly I I've been warned at the 1st time but it worked I opened the water on it and it still working like nothing happen . For all who wants to buy it and thy R thinking abt a galaxy s3 or an iphone ill tell u buy an Acro s and u will appreciate my advice . And if dont like Sony or the NXT generation of XPERIA ill tell buy the HTC one x its cool and perfect and its number two in the Evaluates global of smartphones .

George, 24 Aug 2012where did gsmarena stated that the phone is mid-range?? it... moreIt's a flagship for Sony. Really, I don't see the point of quad-core processors and I think phone technology is advancing way too fast. Since quad-core processors are power-hungry, they need bigger batteries. Bigger batteries require bigger phone sizes. If it continues to be this way, all phones we'll have 6 inch phones by 2015. All sizes above 4.5 inches are ridiculous and all specs above Snapdragon S4 dual-core are unnecessary. Sony are right to keep their phones below that limits and it's a real shame that their phones don't sell that much. If I owned a popular site I would let Sony advertise their Xperias (except the crappy Xperia S, P and U) for free because they deserve more popularity.
