which color will be best for this phone I am going to buy this Phone from Ebay because this phone did not came to Indian market. So plz help me for finding this best color fro Black or white. Some one told that Black color have rubber finish and the white one some matte finish...I am totally confused b/w this both color so plz help, who owned this phone...Thank you

Finally we can root .55 easily...if you have .45 just root it using binary method and update via ota..
.45>root>ota .50>ota .55 as simple as that.. I got mine rooted at .55..

the sony acro s is technically a lower version of the much anticipated xperia z, which is also a water and dust proof smartphone. this phone could beat(if not) go head on with the iphone 4s. screen size, processor, and style, camera, speakers...this phone has it all.

Sorry to say that if you are planning on buying an xperia in Australia, I would think twice if you wanted Sony Ericson Service along with that. My new AcroS died literally, 3 weeks after buying it and had to send it to a contracted service agent "Fonebiz". No one in my state answered my calls so had to call Sydney. Told to send it down. Did that non 4th Feb 2013. after two weeks with my new phone I was told it would be in my post box in two days. Did not arrive so again I called Fonebiz in Sydney. Now im told the phone needed a part that is currently not available and 150 other customers are awaiting the same part for various models. So its off to sony Customer service Australia, who are in New Zealand and was told to fill in a complaint form that they eventually emailed to me the next day. Now today I spoke to the customer service boss called Sam ( also a contractor) who has given me nothing but belligerent remarks about how things take time and all companies use contractors & Quote"If your new car broke down you wouldnt expect it to be fixed any quicker. (Maybe thats the case in NZ) but not in Australia. They have had my new phone for 3 weeks. And they are useing "Contractors to hide there own lack of regard for the customer" Anyone want to buy a 1 mth old Acro S Cause I am Over Sony Ericson.

My usage makes the backup time last up to 2 days easily before recharging, and this, i never let the charge get down to below 40%... so now imagine if i let it drain to say 5% I should easily get another day to that.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2013acro s has only desk docking charger only or usb charging i... moreBoth USB and desk charging. In fact, the desk charging is only a shortcut to the usb charging so as not to open the usb flap each time. The same charger output is plugged to the desk charger.
