I'm a sony xperia fan,... moreHi Mikki007, got my acro s 3 weeks ago at glorietta. so far everything is ok. downside is only the battery life. my previous phone was the nokia e72. im always connected to the internet (3g). my nokia could last up to 2 days full time connected to the internet (making emails, FB, etc.) acro s tends to last less than 26 hours max using 3g all the time. better get juice defender app or any similar app that can save your battery life. ;)
ps. im not used to phones that can drain as fast as this. ive also went to sony and complained this and they told me that that is normal. you just have to live with it. i just bought a car charger instead just in case..

Hi ahhm i want to buy this phone... I was thinking if thos phone has a good battery life because i had two option its etheir i buy this phpne or ill buy my s3 plssss anyone help me just 16 yrs old guy here :-)

hate it, 01 Dec 2012really its not a water proof only water resistant.this mobi... morePhones are for communication, not to immerse in water. This phone is water resistant, that means, whenever you put the phone in water by mistake, it will not affect the working of the phone. Other phones, if you put them in water, you need to make them dry before using it again. You can use this phone without worry.

Hi guys. I badly need your help..
I'm a sony xperia fan, i've been using my xperia neo v for a year now and i'm really contented with it (except for the low internal memory and battery life). Im thnking of upgrading my handset to XPERIA ACRO S (PINK), been reading the reviews and i so like the specs. but my problem is, i like the s3 too. I'm really torn between the two phones. i'm into social networking, love to take pics, download movies, play games, love to download go launcher and themes.. I cant figure out which fits me.
Please share your thoughts. Some say s3 is better while some say acro s is the best.
Most people here in the Phils are using S3, and i dnt like the feeling when everybody has the same phone. But the specs of s3 cant be ignored.

Hi, when my battery reach the temperature of 40°C (100F I think) and over then it stops charging, anyone else facing this problem with acro s? I've tried other USB chargers (from Sony) and still the same problem.

sory for bad english, i had tried put it underwater with to test underwater video recordng.
1st try: moist thing at the back of camera glass. no defect.
the moisture gone by itself.
2nd: no moisture prob.
3rd: got moisture.
4th: no moisture, i learn how to prevent auto zoom in underwater. By keep pressing the zoom out button before u put into the water until ur already in the water. then can release. coz the zooming in problem usually occur at the time when ur putting it into the water.

viddu, 30 Nov 2012i use it 3 days and then i tried to take picture underwater... moredude.. your phone must've had a factory defect or you didn't check if the hdmi/3.5mm jack/usb/sd/sim compartments were locked tight. i soak my acro S everytime it gets hot,took underwater pics.. it's been ok for 2 months now..

It was tested on a TV channe... morei use it 3 days and then i tried to take picture underwater 15cm and it is broken and they says it was full of water ...!i buy this device for it`s water resistance but it is not so sony is a cheater ..my wave rocks still after 2 years and sony sucks after 3 days and water 15 cm it should be water resistant 1 meter but it is dead and the water is the reason i have pictures inside of it....wasted.... only for sahara! no water

it suits u in everyway other than the battery life
using this phone for 2 months and my only woe is da battery life

Am planning to buy this mobile
My requirements are 1GB RAM
Dual core processor
should have good battery life
rough use
games should work without any lag
and play hd videos
and the touch should be good
I think this phone suits me
If u have any other better option suggest me please

zee, 28 Nov 2012actually it's not water proof.. it is WATER RESISTANT only.... moreIts water proof. Very much so. It was tested on a TV channel here, they brought it to a resort and abused it the whole day, threw it around and left it at the bottom of the pool much deeper than 1 meter, and did a lot of underwater video recording. It was good as new at the end of the day. Cannot say the same about the samsung in the same test, it also was working at the end of the day but had water inside the display.
You just have to youtube it to see that Acro S is VERY much waterproof and solid. Run over by cars and thrown and kicked around, and still working. Very well done for a fairly high end HD unit. The guy here who destroyed his in water, bad luck, hope Sony will replace it.

Why is this phone so hard to find in Europe?
I think it is not imported at all in Greece but I am having a hard time finding it with a EU guarantee.
