As it doesnt have a battery cover to open & find out its better left to imagination what smells. LOL. Jus kidding but all these battery covers have a rubberised texture on them which is the reason for that smell.

yes it is available in india for a price tag of rs.26500 on ebay.in these days there is a discount going on of 7 % so it comes to rs.24645 but without sony india warranty ,it comes with a 1 year seller warranty for hardware and software . `it is also available in mumbai with sony india warranty for rs. 30,000.

It's really good phone since I buy it last week but don't ever use go launcher on any smartphone coz it will lag :)

1. Does this phone "choose" between different earphones/headphones? On previous Xperia phones many say that they experience that. One brand of earphone does not work with the phone. I mean, is it just that this phone only accepts Sony earphones/headphones?
2. How long does the battery last? If you will answer this question please state the breakdown of your usage.
P.S.: Do Sony earphones/headphones produce good quality sound? Thanks! :)

Its good!Before i updated ma phne, it was bit laggy! bt aftr totally satisfied! Perfect graphics! Nw playn NFS most wnted , Dnt hv wrds to explain..... Headset is not up to ma expectations!So i bought a new sony mdr-ex300 from ebay! Now im complete!

For all those who are asking about acro s... Its far better than xperia go and S ... been using this device for about a month and completely satisfied... Sony has its own standards andd acro s thoroughly justifies it...
