Will this phone get a jellybean update? Ehate do you guys think? And whats a good battery saving app? Mines drained from 6-am to 5pm. I jinda wanna extend it a bit. Because I charge everyday before I sleep. :)

My wife want Acro S, one of her frends have one but that frend is not an advanced user so she cannot answer even simple questions.

AnonD-67923, 08 Oct 2012actually it is nickel metal hydride, not "hybrid"......Its "nikkel metal hydrid" in my language, no E at the end, didnt know that was the english spelling, with E. The B and D was autocorrect mistake since i was using english dictionary and it will not suggest Hydride unless i swype to E at the end of the word.
Seems like most ppl who post here does not have english as their native language, so if we are having a spelling contests we rather use a language none of us know. I suggest we use the some remote Siberian sub dialect of some Tungusic language. Or Klingon.

The battery life is the main problem for this phone esp. when you let your HSDPA always turned on, it will drain your battery faster. So what I did, i set my GSM at connect the WIFI or HSDPA only when I need it.

i bought this device yesterday and my first impression is the perfect mobile this year don't hear about short life battery its good no heating problems as some body told this is my first impressions as a new user this is facts not a propaganda info and i will get yours feedback's about every thing i love this phone and its perfect you not gonna blame ur self for bought it go go go 4 its ....wonderful...sorry Samsung this is facts

this phone is great
using it for few days now
camera is ok,no focusing issue
only concern is the battery life
i have to charge it twice a day :-(

This turn out to be da best phone ever the only bad thing is its heavy battery backup is more than awsome big up sony waiting for it to come to kenya n how much is it in $.

I tried a demo unit of this phone from a mall, it was good but the audio quality wasn't good and loud as samsung phones, even with xloud.. do Acro S owners experience this on the units?

kurt, 06 Oct 2012only weakness is the phone is heavy everything else is perfect!I used to carry a N900 and after that a HTC Desire Z, both 180g weight. No problem at all with that weight for those two years, so the modest 147g of Acro S is really nothing.
In the early 1990ies a friend had a Finland made handheld cellfone, 450 grams, that was too heavy, i admit it. My first phone was much lighter, a Nokia 101 (an NMT900 analogue cellphone from 1993, this was before GSM), it was 330g, and still today i will say that was acceptable, not so heavy.

I have already Xperia Acro S!!Its so amazing i Cant be change to Iphone 5!!!cuz wen ever throw it , and even Ive tried to hit by my own car which is Ford!!TskTsk!!Fucking Amazing!!Its really worth it!Tnx Guys
