is that what u REALLY need (about the need of high pixel density) ? It just near the same although it was 2++ or 3++ pixel per inch ! Nokia n8 camera is the best ?! Oh, come on dude, u must dreaming on a day. Don't get me wrong, i'm not a fanboy, i'm just an ordinary user like all of u in here, guys.. Peace, no war :)

dont get me wrong. I love sony products. its just that acro s camera sucks. my previous phone (xperia pro) has beter camera than this. over all Acro S is my favourite. im just not satisfied with its camera. its grainy. :/

Pete, 16 Sep 2012Don't tell me u bought this phone because of its camera!!??... morethis phone qualify my needs and requirement for a real phone. when You cell pgone it must be durable and stand in rain or in sudden fall of the phone, I lovend this phone (XPERIA ACRO s) will be my phone until manother phone with greater specs and most importatly have a same IP or Higher IP. Kudos to this phone,. I have this phone Almost 4 months and I don't face any problem. Iphone 5 is realease still i love his phone can i phone 5 stand water and dust, the only advantage of Iphone 5 is the maps and nothing more.

Anup, 16 Sep 2012Dear, i saw all the comments and then i bought this phone. ... moreThis might be a case of USER ERROR. I notice that when I set my acro S camera to normal, the pictures are a bit grainy. But when I use the auto scene setting, the pictures came out excellent (like point and shoot).
But I'm not in the position to compare against Nokia as the only Nokia phones I had were the 6210 and 6600 hehe. After that, I went to a couple of Sony Ericssons, 1 Samsung, 1 HTC, and back to Sony.

Loon, 16 Sep 2012I have the same problem, even if it's fully charged, the ba... moreIt might be your network signal not the phone itself. I can easily get 2.5-4 days of battery life from my phone with the following usage:
- 2 hours surfing (including upload of pics to sites) via wifi
- 4 hours bluetooth connected to car
- lots of SMS (send and receive)
- couple of hours calls
- taking of pictures
- couple of minutes videos
- i have a profile manager running (wherein it auto adjust settings based on the day of the week and time)
- i have led manager running (wherein it changes the led light to green for SMS and blue for missed calls and white for no network signal)
- i have easy answer running (use of hardware buttons to answer/reject calls)
- i have flip to mute running
- lots of widgets on my home window
- playing with gps every now and then
- heavy use of OTG to read/copy files from usb flash drives
- battery performance running on home (just to monitor battery %, I'm not activating it)
- screen brightness set to 1 level higher than the lowest
- no 3g
- no battery saver apps installed
Extremely happy from the 1-2 days I get from my HTC Chacha.
