got my c4 6 months ago lovely phone and then it stated to give touch problems then it started to get realy hot and the battery started to drain fast then it started to switch off while charging and started to take longer each time to reboot itook it into the repair centre and it died could not even switch on they could not repair it and have promised to refund me problem is I like sony

SONY Xperia C4 updated to 6.0 vía Xperia Companion connected to internet. Phone looks better with Marshmallow. Procedure was simply.

C4 has manufacturing defect. They are repairing the touch problem for the devices in warranty knowing well that it'll occur soon again and this time we'll be out of warranty and out of luck. It is a hardware manufacturing fault. No amount of software updates to marshmallow or anything will fix this defect. The only solution is to fight with Sony for replacement. This phone is a blot on Sony.

I also have experience of malfunction of the touchscreen. I even have brought it back to sony center twice.... its not good

Xperia c4 android lollipop have some touch issues, so try to upgrade to marshmallow 6.0 soon if you are facing to touch issues.. there is no internal problems in the phone... I also faced some touch issues when using Android lollipop those days there is no marshmallow update released for Xperia c4, the only thing I done is keep my phone on safemode for 30min. after that I didn't get any touch issues later. try to update your Xperia c4 to marshmallow using pc companion..

The ones who have written that you do this and your touch problems will be solved have posted with vested interests. Possibly they are sellers trying to flip their phones. DO not go for Xperia C4. It has a inherent touch screen issue due to manufacturing issues(akin to galaxy note 7) which will never be solved. The only solution is if sony acknowledges the problem and agrees to replace our phone with another model.

Bought this phone in march and since last month the touch screen is not working properly. Already tried to come to Sony Service Center here in Indonesia on 31st of oct but they said they need to order the screen and it will take 2-3 weeks but until now i havent heard anything from them. Been a fan of Sony phone but this time they are really disappointing. SONY MOBILE INDONESIA, IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE SORT IT OUT!!!

Most problems listed below are easily solved by resetting or reinstalling the whole OS by using the Xperia Companion software with a computer. Connect your phone with the usb cable, run Companion software and carefully follow the prompts according to your selection.

Worst phone and worst customer service ever! ! I BOUGHT my c4 Dec 2015, after system update last May2016 my phone screen is unresponsive. I decided to went to nearest sony service center here in our area for them to check my unit cause its still under warranty.
Almost 6mos now but my phone is still under repair. :(

i have a Phone Sony Xperia C4, i take care a lot but the problem is it is hard to touch and not able to touch... i don't know what the problem is... can you help me how to fix or what should i do, i have spent lot of money to buy this unit.. it is almost 1 and a half year that i used it. my location is on the province of Aurora part of Central Luzon in the Philippines... Do not upgrade to Marshmallow if you can help it - had this phone for almost a year and for the most I have enjoyed using it minus some bugs/hanging here and there. Without a doubt it hangs more on Marshmallow and Bluetooth signal also seems to have become worse where it skips every couple minutes.. incredibly obnoxious.
