Sony Xperia C4

I have recently been having trouble with my C4. The battery depletes very quickly. When i plug in the charger, it turns off. Also, the phone gets really hot at times while plugged in to the charger. Also the touchscreen has malfunctions at times.
I am not here to hate or advice people not to buy it, I'm looking for help with my device.

Dear ladies & gentle mens, some people spreading wrong/fake news , don't get caught for those. I'm using c4 about a year, no problems yet. working perfectly with superb music & good camera..
some people say there is a touch problem.. actually if there is a touch problem because of a software bug.. not a hardware fault. those people can update to c4 latest software android 6.0 marshmallow! using pc companion or wait until directly comes to phone.. c4 marshmallow update fixed all the bugs.. can use the phone smoothly and better.. I recommend to buy and enjoy Xperia c4!

C4 Dual or HTC One E8 ?
they are same at the price in my country
but i really dont know which is better
they are very similar to each other but with little differences
like
C4 has a little better camera (based on gsmarena photo comparison)
and as it looks has more powerful CPU but in comparison video clip that i saw Htc was faster ! maybe its because snapdragon
Htc has Quick Charge and more battery endurance
C4 is 0.5 inch bigger
Htc has boomsound which is perfect
Htc released android 6.0 update six months before Sony
so im really confused !

Saurabh , 02 Nov 2016I dont know why people are spreading wrong news and posting... moreI just bought only 2 day, the phone hot is really hot, camera error, and screen become black. I buy under warranty and the seller told me to change a new one and I prefer exchanging sony speaker! No one want to exaggerate but they just say what they meet.!

xperia c4 worst phone i ever had in my life.5 months after purchase i had touchscreen problem, sent to sony service center and they changed the screen only after 2 months i was having the same problem went back again and i asked my phone to be replaced with new phone which they did, right after 3 weeks same problem went back again this time they kept my phone for 4 weeks and gave it back on the last day of the expiry of warranty 3 day after that i am having same problem and sony is not helping me any more because my phone is not covered with warrenty.
i suggest any one who is thinking of buying a sony phone, think twice before buying

I dont know why people are spreading wrong news and posting wrong comments about c4...guys c4 is one of the best mobiles...i m using the mobile since 2 years...its really awesome mobile... Go for it

C4 bought in 2015 august. From the beginning touch problem. Malfunctioning. During the warranty period itself they have serviced for the same problem. Now also the same problem, but they are charging 5000 Rs. For the same. I think company Sony is not fit for mobile manufacturing. On the other hand in to and all good

Had this less than a year and the touchscreen is going berserk. Been acting up for months now. At this point I can't recover like I could before with a factory reset.

Ive bought a sony xperia c4 last January 2016, everything was fine until August 2016 where i started experiencing touchscreen malfunction, ive bought the unit to the service center but to my dismay almost all units particulary xperia c series experiences touchscreen malfunction. All i can say is that the c series is defective, ive had a very hard time not to mention the hassle the phone repair gave me. Also, when asked if a replacement unit of another series can be issued again its very difficult to process. It took me a report to dti fteb in order to resolve my complaint but the resolution we arrived at proves very unfair in my behalf.

fkaraken, 24 Oct 2016I can say that I will never buy any Xperia phone after C4. ... moreI am having the same problem with my Sony Xperia C4 and I just got it in June 2016 and by August 2016 this phone is a weaste of money it starts to malfunction the touch do not work it freezes when it ready you might be looking at something and it just jump from one app to the next my mom bring it back they say I have too much apps on it they deleted what they wanted to and she bring it back to me with the same problem how can I get in contact with Sony support for them to fix my phone or give me a new one

I can say that I will never buy any Xperia phone after C4. They lost me. Touch screen problem is really annoying (it sometimes work normally, sometimes it doesnt work even at the room temprature). Also I think there is no way to fix it once it started. Tecnical support rarely fixes it, most of the time send it back with no problem found (since it raandomly works and randomly fails). You should just get used to that annoying touch screen if you encounter any problem.
