I bought Sony Xperia C4 dual mobile last year in July and exactly after one year in 2016 the handset's touch has started malfunctioning. I thought Sony is a well established company but its product is not at all up to the expectations. It cost me 24000 to buy it and now after just 1 year it is troubling me so much. I have tried factory resetting, virus scanning and everything but still the problem exists. If Sony can't supply any products without these kind of manufacturing defects then they should withdraw from the market. So much advantage and so many facilities are provided but such poor performance by the phone. Is this some kind of business strategy that right after the warranty of the product has expired the phone will start having motherboard and touch issues so that people come to repair them and company can charge half the original mobile price on repairing? I am truly dissapointed in Xperia phone. I will definately suggest everybody to not buy Sony phones.

manu, 19 Sep 2016very poor quality touch screen problemmy friend. touch screen has no problem. if your device has problem, you must contact to the sony service center in your country.

Gopi , 18 Sep 2016Unable to update for Android v6 It seems that the Android 6.0 for C4 / C4 Dual have been lunched in Italy, US, India, Brazil, Latin America, Australia for the moment. I'm also waiting for this upgrade.

I upgraded it... moreThe Android upgrades never roll out in 1 batch. It depends on the branches and local ISP arrangement. The launches at first country and the last country can have 3 to 4 months different.
Also, normally (not only Sony), the android upgrade via OTA had few days later than connected via USB by PC. So, you can install Xperia Companion on Windows or Mac. Then connect your C4 with USB to check for Andriod 6.

In terms of 5.5" screen and the super low price, I've bought 2 set for my old parents who love the large screen. Although only 2 GB ram, it is smooth enough and they don't play game. Although only 16GB rom, they aren't play too many apps. Just Whatsapp and photo editing that the storage is larger than what they need.
Good phones for elderly and non game players.

xperia c4 is really good phone.i have no problem with my c4. you can not find better phone in this price range. fullhd big 5.5 inch display, 2gb ram, octa core 1.7gh cpu,light weight,good design,and great xperia interface.buy c4 and enjoy...

I bought this phone ( E5333 ) a week ago ,,
I upgraded it to v 5.1 only ...via Wifi
It did not ask for v 6.0 ... I don't why ,,, and how can i upgrade it to v 6.0 ...
Would someone tell me why and how to upgrade it .. ?

I purchased a Sony c4 mint after 6 month there was problem in touch so I went to service center they told me that your device is not in warranty so I will not responsible of your device...... So I am not satisfied with Sony and never advice to any friends and non friends to purchase any product of Sony

If it's still overpriced for you, then just wait a couple of months, The prices usually drops relatively fast. Managed to grab myself a brand new Xperia Z3+ for only 290 USD.
Also a former user of Xperia C4 for a year and haven't faced any issues until I sold it.

I bought in Aug 2015, exactly after 1 year ( warranty expired) the network problem and motherboard issue, Sony service center charged 11K (half of total), dont go for this phone, its defect in mnfcng,
