You can do it later but with an expert person in rooting.

AnonD-447917, 19 Oct 2015wow sir u are really a great help to me. i am choosing betw... moreZenfone 2 is really a good phone for its price. I tried my brother zf2 and the performance is good. 4GB RAM version is really flawless for multitasking.
It also more easier to root zenfone 2. C5 ultra didn't have root untill now. If you love flashing custom ROM and root is important to you take zenfone 2.

Camera takes about 4-5 seconds to open also the shutter speed is slow, sometimes you miss those candid moments, apart from that it's a good phone.

There is also users reported that the new update make their phone performance better, camera app open faster and wake up screen also less delay. I didn't care too much about all that as long my phone works fine and not giving me hard time but yeah the new update really improve your phone alot better.

13mp front shooter with led flash is overkill. But totally acceptable. I like it. I still don't like the on screen button. Why Sony? Why?

AnonD-447917, 18 Oct 2015so u'r recommending this phone? how about lag/hang/heating ... moreThere is lag a little bit especially when I browsing website that full of ads but now its okay because I use browser that can block ads. It also have some mini stutters when I fast scroll up and down Whatsapp messages that full of images. Overall, this phone is good and smooth. No heavy lag and no bad stutter.
Heat is there in every smartphone. When web browsing, it just warm a bit. 3D gaming heats up this phone (like other smartphone) pretty fast and sometime can be really hot but its normal and I can live with that.
The problem right here about heat is when you watch/streaming video. The phone heats up like crazy and it seriously annoys me. Even if I play GTA SA for 2 hours, the temperature is lower than the temparature when watching video for 15 minutes and drain battery like water. Maybe Sony can fix it with next Android version. Overall this phone handles heat quite good (except when watching video) but can be improve much more with software update.
About hang. From 1st day I own this phone it never hang at all.
I really like the phone and Im really happy with it. The display, camera, performance, battery and sound is good and satisfy me. But to be honest, I dont know if I recommend or not. You should try the phone first and see if it suits you. Also there is a lot of better and cheaper option than C5 Ultra. Sorry for my english if it is bad.
