Untill few days ago, I wished to go back to my old Blackberry (powerful and stable OS) but an update on Xperia E1 seems that has fixed a lot of bugs including restarting side. Maybe it's too soon to say something very positive about it but now it works fine ...Recommend to anyone to give a try making an update ...it worth it. If you can't do it with Sony PC Companion (that's my case) go to Sony Update Service. Still hope that this phone could be really amazing....besides, I'm looking forward to the next version planned on July as far as I've heard about.

those who having restart problem please register their complain in service centre or on this no. its a toll free no 180030002800 so that know that this is a big issue and do some thing about it
i am saying it because when i called in service centre today i told them that my and all other xperia E1 facing restarting problem they told me that their is no such issue with e1 if you have any kind of problem then repair your software by pc companion or go to service centre to do so so pls register your complain on the above no so that they can notice the problem and fix it

I have it for 3 weeks and except it's restarting itself sometimes, I'm pretty pleased. Some issues could happen to any phone no matter if it's Samsung, Apple or other brand. For this phone there are some apps that are very usefull.You can find them on Google Play. Although, as the case may be, perhaps the best solution is to get it to the service.On the other hand, come on guys, how many of all those "magic" features that other phones have them are you using per day.Nowadays, it's not worth it to stay focused on a single phone on a digital era always in progress....any new entry phone becomes an old phone thanks to the next huge "brand". Finally, if you've got this phone it's OK if not it's OK, too. Enjoy life guys!

This is the most slippy phone i have owned! Get a gel case when u buy this phone or u will drop it!! Does anyone know why the purple pulse light comes on when i go onto photo album or walkman player? Can it be turned off? I know the option to turn of pulse notifaction but there is no option to turn it off for some apps

I have purchased this phone last month and what I can really say about this phone is that its really GREAT GREAT GREAT at such a low price. I can't find any other phone with all these features. It is not any entry level phone or basic phone but it is the final phone.
Positive things about this phone
1. Great Display: Though under sunlight you cannot see anything clearly the display is awesome indoors. The screen size is big and all photos, videos and other graphics are clearly visible even from the sides.
2. Great sound: The sound is loud and clear and you can really feel the music at your heart. I can't believe that you can even get headphones FREE with it.
3. Great User interface: if you are new to this phone you may have difficulties during your initial use but later you automatically get used to it. It has got a querty keyboard which is very easy to type when you auto-rotate the screen.
3. Very good Web browsing experience
You can download firefox and get full length webpages in seconds. Reading online contents is also great. You can also play YouTube videos and download them using tubemate application.
you can also very easily connect this phone to your computer without any CD because the software to be installed on your pc is pre stored in your phone. By just enabling the USB tethering option and selecting install software on your phone you can easily surf Internet on your computer using 3G by just enabling the LAN icon which gets created in your network connections windows.
4. Battery: Right now my battery gives me a very good backup even with music, videos etc but if you use the Internet for long the battery seems to drain by 2 or 3 percent slowly which is not a big problem as you can still browse the Internet for even more then half an hour with a fully charged battery.
Sensitive touch: Touch should not have a problem at all. Ways better than my old Samsung phone.
Speed: Doesn't seem to be too slow even though it's ram is just 512mb. Speed is not a problem at all. Only auto rotation of the screen takes a little time just around 3-4 secs.
Negative sides:
The phone sometimes hangs for which you need to remove your battery and place it back. It hangs only sometimes and is not a big problem as this problem is only after a long use or is very rarely
Also note when you use this phone for the first time the back cover is very hard to remove but just after 1 week frequent removals it becomes easy to remove.
overall the phone features I found were more than expected. The cost of this phone should be more in my opinion with these awesome features like auto brightness, 3mp camera etc. I bought this phone (single sim) just for Rs. 8000. Dual simply costs Rs. 9000 at my store with free headphones.
