I have been using this phone for more than one year now.For me its just ok. The main problem is that it has poor storage. But of you have a cleaner app like CLEAN MASTER it will help. The camera is good and overall gaming performance is not sattisfied. One time I also faced with an Android crash. So I would suggest another brand than SONY

Nice looking phone, not user friendly, couldn't even get settings from Vodacom after changing sim from MTN to Vodacom card. Not a user friendly device at all, very disappointed.

I purchased Sony Experia E3 Model D2202 in October 2014. It looks nice and gives good photographs but it proved worthless since the internal memory was only 1.72 GB which was nearly filled with the updates of the apps and had to virtually remove the updates regularly to provide working space without which it hangs. So please be cautious in selecting a phone particularly while selecting cheaper versions of popular brands.

I bought My E3 in November 15 2014 and Successfully Rooted my phone in February.Lots of Games, Mc4,GTA3,Gta VC,Gta SA,Nova 3,Asphalt 8, all games installed at the Same time.No issues after Rooting

Okay I have this phone for a few months ( the D2203 LTE variant ) So it feels very premium build quality also I put on the screen a glass screen protector real scratch resistant and a silicon case, it made the phone weight a little more but feel more like an expensive phone, I wondered to choose between this and a e4g, so it seems that e4g is better in performance/camera ( Im dont need a good camera, but this e3 5mpx is simple and good with very bright flash light ) gives 8gb (4.7gb user I think) internal, but Im pretty sure that E3 battery is far more better also screen colours more vivid/brightness level much better than e4g and build design is more eye catching. You can just turn off auto update apps in google play settings so u will not have internal memory isues, but for me I need something more with internal storage so I unlocked bootloader, installed cwm recovery and flashed a stock based rom which is perfectly tweaked and without annoying sony apps ( also can uninstall any bloatware with this rom ) 1.5gb free for user use, then after that I installed some apks for free ( apks websites ) otherwise you have to buy them in google play and after that I flashed a SWAP kernel which makes your SD card as internal memory, but since there is no solution with this type kernel cuz you cannot anymore install apk files from websites when u flash it. So thats why before flashing this kernel I istalled some important non free apps. ( Of course I can do a backup and reflash to cwm stock storage kernel and install other important apks, then reflash) You still can download apps from google play with this kernel and it works pretty amazing. My phone is now 32gb internal storage I can install huge games, with this stock based tweaked rom games like death dome, some other 3d games without high graphics work very smooth cuz u now its adreno 305 here, nothing special. Everything I found in XDA developers forum, u can find there more roms, especially Firefox OS with OTA updates in fxpblog, there is another way to make your sd card as internal card read but I didnt tried it. Installing some kind of apps and other bullshit work, so I just did it with kernel, the simpliest way. Finally, I have very good brand phone for BUDGET as I mentioned the battery even without stamina mode stays for me arround 3 days if not hard gaming 3D games ( this because of non hd display, which is real advantage for adreno 305gpu to make phone run very smooth/ and better gaming in its performance class ). So if I will not understand how to flash/ do things with your phone, then I just be like u guys swearing on this phone and keep saying it's piece of shit. And of course the phone bezels is not annoying for me, I can say its and quite advantage for me, cuz when u gaming the bezels are better cuz u dont misslick things and see whole screen, also makes a better distance between fingers ( howerver, we have not the same palms so I can't say it's better for everyone)

Ive been having this since 1 yr... I have noooo issues.... Battery back up awsemee..... Good screen quality.....
The only negative thing is internal storage.... But if u root noo internal storage problem... I didn't rooted it yet.....
Buttt im satisfied wid my Sony E3.......

Yes It happens ,clean your storage regularly .Use cloud to store data instead since 2GB space is not enough .

It is the worst ph... more@piplilias basically e3 is a low end and budget model so that is why it has low memory sony has some expensive phones those are are great i'm using z3 from almost one year don't have any lags or problem working smoothly try any high end model i hope you like them :)

xperia e3 ain't a bad one,but the internal storage is not sufficient.. as mention 4gb room,but the storage is hardly 2gb..I own a one there is no problem except for what I have mentioned above

I have this phone for 11 months already. It is the worst phone I have had ever. It is broken anywhere, memory is always full with apps and software factory installed, I cannot transfer anything to the card. I won't never have a Sony phone again

Using this phone for the past one year am here posting my frank and original review the phone is good but cannot be said as best.The major problem with this mobile is the internal memory if u root ur phone then the problem can be solved other than this the secondary camera which is not best in capturing selfies.. other than this there is no problem with battery and other things.

Over cost for this features
