5.5 is too large, not comfortable, not fit in hand and pocket, and drain more battery

Please make Sony Xperia E5 Compact! but you will upgrade the 1.5gb ram to 2gb ram and make the thickness 7.0mm and try to provide fingerprint sensor! no need for water resistant!

on a serious note e5 has magnetic compass,ambient light sensor absent on samsung j series.e5 has 1.5gb ram but sony software is way better optimised than touch wiz..my 1st android was sony m2(1gb ram) which is way way smoother than my 2nd phone-j5 2015(1.5gb ram).so ram no problem bcoz its sony.sound of j series loudspeaker is veryyy low.sony scores here.then coming to camera j5,j7 have no hdr...e5 has both front and rear hdr canera,e5 has 200gb micro sd support,j series 128gb...j5,j7 dont come with samsung music player...sony e5 comes with own app...and rhey look beautiful...i am gonna sell my j5 and get this.

Regarding alternatives for a Android phone with 4.5" screen (or around, let's say up to 66mm wide), with some reasonable specs and suitable for lower budgets (150~200€):
BQ Aquaris A4.5 it is an Android One phone, so it has proper software updates. 5 year warranty. The 2GB RAM/16GB flash version is recommended. Limited availability outside Europe and somewhat pricey for the spec sheet, but quite a reliable phone.
ZTE Nubia Z5S has an HD screen and has a nice camera (for the price). Battery is its biggest flaw.
IUNI U2 has a FullHD screen, a really beefy CPU (SD800) and a nice camera. Battery could be better, doesn't have 4G. It is a really old flagship model, so availability may be quite limited in the stocks of the stores. You can forget about software support with this one.
If I had to choose between those 3 above, I would go with BQ simply because the software support and warranty given. It is almost a Nexus device, but smaller and cheaper.
There are a few other, some with 1.5GB of RAM, but many with 1GB and 512MB, however they are discontinued and old in such a way that I could not find online stores that sold them. Some physical stores that act as stock outlets might have them at bargain prices.

why this cheapass phone look better than the whole overpriced x series? lol. it would be acceptable if it only had better batter. i don't want average, i want strong battery sony, and it should be obligatory for all oems to put strong batteries.

Xperia X, which has a higher res display and powerful processor, has a smaller 2620 mAh battery. Most thought it would result in bad battery life. But battery life tests showed battery life was indeed very good.
2700 mAh is more than enough for E5, which has a weedy processor and 720p display
