Its hard to choose between sola and go but in my openion the reselution and the ppi / pixels wont help me like the resistance of the go will do. Go is better and it will get the j.b in 2013.. Its written on sony's site

~flow~, 23 Oct 2012Guys about the GPU on this thing, is the Mali-400 described... moreYes it is Mali-400 MP GPU, the same graphic processor used by Samsung Galaxy S series, however the performance of this gpu is scalable from 240MHz to 395MHz (less performance reduces the cost of the chipsets that integrating this unit), and it seems it is set to the lower clock speed in NovaThor 8500 chipset.

Sony is targeting those phones for different type of audience: sola generally is typical mid range Sony's mobiles which focus on entertainment, simplicity and social networking - or things that Sony always offer from their products and presenting floating touch feature exclusively to sola (in the future this will also present to other models). While Xperia Go with the highest level of dust and water resistance available is a rugged phone aimed to people with more outdoors activities who prefer a device that can accompany them properly any where they go outdoors.
Oh and btw sola screen resolution is not WVGA, it's actually FWVGA (480x854).

mali400 on xperia go is only single core,.adreno205 and mali400(single core) are almost the same in terms of performance..

Mali-400 better then Adreno 205,if you compare it with the Adreno 225 are almost equal(where one is better than somewhere else partof processor)50/50

On the same diagonal size screen, pictures on WVGA screen will be looked sharper than on the HVGA ones, higher resolution means more pixel density or ppi to give more detail of the pictures displayed on it.
