Anonymous, 19 Oct 2012can this phone support divx xvid,avi,mkv videos ? hey its android... u can play any video format.. but u need some codecs.. install mx player from google playstore.. u r done... enjoy man...!!

Water leaked into my phone by putting it in just a wine glass full of water. Earpiece not working. U cannot 100% guarantee this phone is water resistant. If ur lucky it will be
bt if u just wnt a shockproof phone then this is quite slim and rough and has a good feel to it

im having a dilemma between getting s advance and xperia go. the price range is about the same, and i know s advance's specs are better. but i somehow have this thing for sony phones ><
i'm looking for a phone that doesn't lag, nice music player (loud and clear), nice video player (optional), durable and long-lasting battery (i'll be using it a lot for music)
any help will be appreciated, thanks!

my xperia go is not turning on, i tried to update in on this link,http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/, it workedbut the power button is not functioning when i manually turn it on, but if i try to reset the phone it gives me the blue/violet light but its stuck on the charging status..
i dont think its a hardware issue...
pls help, need it badly...

I prefer the first main menu like Sony Xperia U, the most esier to make silent just flip the speaker picture.

It is quite a nice phone ... as a 2nd phone, but I wouldn't want it as my main phone.
Having said that, Sony's customer service is terrible and I wouldn't start taking it under water "on purpose", because if it does leak, Sony will take soooooooo long to repair it you'll end up buying another phone!! Mine is in for repair and it has been over a month now, and still no sign of a return date !!!!!!!!
The waterproofing is fine for if you get caught in the rain, etc., but don't just test it for the sake of testing it ...... you could be without a phone for a very long time.
