this phone is epic .. With it's price and spec. I can say its amizing and soon the ics lagging will be fixed ... And iam sure that jb is coming !! Perfect

I purchased the Xpedia GO soon after it came out. It is actually quite a nice little phone (especially as a second phone), however, it has a MAJOR design fault. Do NOT EVER try and use a MICRO SIM with a "caddy" (the normal way you use a "micro" sim on any other phone. Not only do you run the risk of not getting it back out, you also run the risk of having to have a NEW CIRCUIT BOARD !!!!!!! Now this is REALLY bad, because more and more phones are now moving to micro-sim cards and not being comfortable about swaping the sim back and forth is a serious issue.
OK, now, given that there is a basic design fault with the phone, you would expect Sony to have replacement circuit-boards in stock ........ NO, none available !!!!!! I have now been wating a month for mine to be repaired and they STILL have NO circuit boards available. PLUS I have to keep phoning them and chasing them to find out what the status is.
So, basically, it isn't a bad little phone, BUT I would NOT recommend this to anyone for 2 reasons ....... 1) A basic design fault, and 2) Sony's terrible customer service.
On a further point, I also own the newly released "Xperia Acro S". I have a micro sim in this too and, based on the "lack of smoothness" I experienced sliding it in (and I was very careful), I'm dreading ever having to take it out because I'm scared that will have the same problem and I'll be without another phone for WEEKS !!!!!! So, beware when buying the Acro S as well.
While we're on the subject of the Acro S, I wish Sony wouldn't mess about with ICS. Some of the really nice, inbuilt features, of ICS have been removed .............. why do these companies think they can re-design Android - if they are that clever, they should have written Android themselves!!! O maybe I should have just kept my Galaxy S3 (except it isn't waterproof)!!!

u see, the phone is water proof without the battery cover on or off.
just clean the water and wipe it off with a dry cloth.

I have tried using different kinds of phone, from apple to samsung. But for me Xperia go is the best when it comes to ruggedness. And the price is just fair enough. Considering the fact that you can used it heavily and no need to buy s protector for the phone.
If anyone will ask if it is worthy.. I will say it is 100%

I can't seem tounderstand why when dip in pool , your phone died. I have been dipping my Sony Go for how many days now, in theshower, in the pool, in the sink and still it is working fine. The IP67 is true.
So probably there is a defect on your phone, better to take it back for replacement.
