spg, 22 Sep 2012Hey, pls dont believe that it is normal if the phone's b... moreBut many people got this problem worldwide. Even sony did not have clear explanation about their back cover problem. This is a great phone,only the back cover is a failure. If I return to the shop, maybe I will get this answer 'good sold are not returnable' or 'good sold are not refundable'. What should I do guys.. I live in malaysia.

Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich is now rolling out on the rest of the Sony Xperia handsets running the NovaThor U8500 platform. The Sony Xperia go, Xperia sola and Xperia U are starting to receive the ICS update as we speak. As usual, Sony says that the rollout will continue over the next few weeks in markets globally.
When you (finally) receive that ICS update, you'll be enjoying a much faster system response, vastly improved core apps, better app support and a number of additional features such as resizable widgets, Sony's new media apps - "Walkman", "Album" and "Movies", and Xperia sola users will even get a brand new "glove mode", allowing them to use the touchscreen while wearing gloves!

But in this case Sony Ericsson Active vs Sony GO, Active has better life in battery time!

Xperia Go or Xperia Active? For normal usage. How long does the battery life can stand out, can it go from a day until night? About 7am untill 10 pm?

Nobody's going to throw it out a window. But if it could survive that, it gives the assurance that the phone is really durable so that an owner can feel more at peace and don't have to worry about breaking it in case it's accidentally dropped. That's the point here. GET IT?

i have a xperia go also.. i noticed that their is flickering of lights wen i open the fon.. i found out that i turn on the automatic brightness. wen i i turn it off it goes a away. i think that the light sensor is responsible of that

bri-bri, 21 Sep 2012I have had no end of problems with my new xperia go. Most o... morethe no service issue happens when i switch the phone off and then on. if i make a call with no service it actually comes alive. I know it's a workaround hope ICS fixes it.
The flaps are quite sturdy though the paint does scratch a bit as you need to use fingernails to open.

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2012i think there is a secondary camera in front of the Sony Xp... morethere is no frontal camera, what you see is some kind of light sensor, which turns off the screen when you are talking and turn it back when you are done.

"Advance or "Go"? Lots of things say the US version of this phone is the Advance due out 3rd quarter 2012. I've seen a few online shops that claim to be selling it but when I contact Sony they aren't even sure of what I'm talking about much less if the Advance has actually been released in the USA or not. :( I really want one of these phones. Anyone have any info or can clear this confusion up?
