Phann, 03 Jun 2012I think that all sony xperias should bring with OS ICS beca... more2.3 is the most stable OS till date..............and sony was about to launch ICS 4.0 but they delayed so that they can now introduce ICS 4.04 in every possible handset which will be soon but the end of June.
VIPS and STARS alwayz show em up in the end alwyz after the other are done pulling a seperate attentions.
Samsung and HTC and several launched ICS but Xperia Kept temting others .....so that is can play a solo role.........like a Star hehee

I think that all sony xperias should bring with OS ICS because it can be competition with all kinds of other model phone such as Samsung Galaxy,HTC,LG,iphone... I think that if Director of company still keep android 2.3 gingerbread, it will lose other phone and destroy the famous name of Sony.I will wait good news from Sony.

Quad-core don`t mean squad and less when they are not even high quality processors.Sony GX is the ONLY phone that has he dual-core S4, you call that outdated?,it is a huge leap from the ion's S3 and has the same performance as the Exynos while consuming less battery. If SONY has decided for the dual-core is because it is actually more effective in every possible way. So please stop saying: but duuuddeee the galaxy s3 has quadcore duuudeeee thats like 2 more, thats like better.That is like saying a civic is faster than a hayabusa because it has four wheels instead of just two. And sorry but you cannot compare Sony´s built quality against Samsung´s plasticky build and feeling.

For those whose saying that Sony aren't caring for their customers,
well, if they aren't caring for the customers why would they still update their whole 2011 Xperia phones..except For the play cause maybe the 100% gaming xperience is not optimized because of some hardware rquiremnts.. And second, in all companies out there, they're the only one that are open to their consumers.. They say what the problem is,and always want an optimized OS for their device..
Why's that the update taked over months & months to be release?
Cause instead of ICS4.0.3 they swap it into ICS4.0.4 wow..
Samsung,HTC,Lg didn't do the same ...

All worldwide releases are S3 Scorpion based CPUs but this one is the latest S4 Krait, this is a shame. I would've bought this for sure if this was available worldwide.

sony's product, like all japanese products nowadays, are always more expensive than korean or taiwanese or chinese products and that is the reason i think this phone will not be release internationally coz it will be more expensive than the hugely more popular samsung galaxy s3. maybe next year when samsung is coming out with the galaxy s4 then sony will release this phone. their always late anyway.

Samsung phones looks very cheap...the widgets looks like crap...looks like the fake phones from china...i mean the immitations..yuck!the designs are so disgusting..it has no clas.. i dont care about the bechmark...whatever...as long as my phone looks awesome and i can use fb,twitter and can surf the net..so i prefer sony and htc..bettet design and better specs..unlike samsung..good specs but designs are garbage..the name also is awfull...

AnonD-37908, 29 May 2012already done with it...even I don't want to discuss any fur... moreSony is a brand............in India and samsung has no value i dont hate samsung what im saying is a truth, specialy in my city Mumbai, people go for style looks and standard.........apple, black berry and sony are those options for them.............only a tech guy can appriciate all this bench mark and stuff but it will 2/10 people, i appricate your comments but in the end for me its the brand value..............like its SONY.....legend but samsung i can show hundred users even a garbage holder use it...........im not under esitmating things but this is fact mate...........many use it but sony/ apple are rare stuff.....i work for vodafone australia with 25000 employees with crazy handsets even virtue but majority S2 samsung and samsung....i stand alone with Xperia S and people go crazy my repo................got it my friend

The problem is it just the announcement,not the launch.They had announced Sony Xperia Ion 5 months ago & i am still waiting for that.If it doesn't come in june i'll be taking samsung galaxy s3.
If Samsung announced a phone (Galaxy 3) in may,they released it in may in retail market (india).& that's good

sony has really good specs,but they are making phones outdated technology.samsung launch their phones with latest technology and with low error it does not have battery problem,network reception problems.sony xperia s have poor network reception,when i visited sony service center one person told me who bought xperia s 2 day's before complaing that he can't even make a call with that handset,the range coming and going.sony has quality but only in multimedia.but it can't be used as a phone, their xperia range have many draw backs.their old java phones were even better than xperia phones in terms battery and network.cybershot and walkman both were great hits.
I only want to tell sony that releasing a handset is good only after thorough checking and clearing all the problems of the handset in every network,i have got an idea sony should give a sample phone to their all servce center person after releasing their phone officially .so that they use it and identify the problems of the handset.sony can easily release it with error free.thats all

Guys who saying worst about sony pls read this
Am using mobile nearly 10 years. My first mobile Sonyericsson T610 then k700, w700,w890,w902,zylo, satio, and now xp ray. All phones are brilliant except satio.
Very poor model that i used - satio

Some one saying sony is worst but guys most of the mobile companies coping sony. While having this sony ericsson mobile my office persons get nokia at same time. What a user friendly mobiles is sony. Note down the points that not in another brand at those times
1. If we sent files via bluetooth sony automatically saved in pictures or videos accourding to file properties. But in other brand it will save in inbox and then we wan to move to other folders
2. If we are seeing a picture or hearing song we can easily set walpaper,ringtone from there but other brands we need to go for profile and then want to change
3. Buds type of earphone
4. In ear phone right ride short and left side long. Now only other brands are mfg earphone like this
5. Group message
6. Camera, walkman, volume dedicated key
And more option. But these are simple tech now but only sony do this now other copied and use low quality materials and leading in market now
