i would say both phones of sony are best(ion,sp)on their own
ion= has full hd screen & reality display camera with 12 mp, battery(1900 mzh, non removable)
where as
sp= has 8 mp camera and great battery life compare to ion(approx 2300 mzh)

Hello, can the users give me honest opinion whether i should buy this device?
the price of ion has dropped down and is within my budget. My alternatives are :
1) xperia SP (a little costly than ion)
2) galaxy s2 (same price)
3) grand duos (a little cheap)
4) optimus L9 (a little cheap)
5) .... some chinese phones with quad core 5" etc and also quite cheaper.... really i am allured to buy 'em.
Please give your honest feedback about :
- does this phone lag ?
- how is battery backup?
- how is developer support ???? ... i mean i am fond f flashing custom ROMs and mods. i had galaxy S and optimus Black... loved flashing cynogenmod and all other roms. Does this device has good developers support....
give your honest opinions please. :)

Hi guys, maybe you can be of help. After rebooting my Ion when it was hanged, I got this little circle moving around as I touch the screen (it's just like following my finger every time I touch the screen). Something wrong with my screen or is it a bug. It is a bit annoying.

guys i compare the sony xperia ion between the sony xz and samsung galaxy s3. u wont believe the xperia ion got best image quality sony ever made

guys I got this phone before one month and I am using everything is good except battery life battery life is very very poor . when I am using 3g it will drain 40 percent battery in one hour how can improve or how can unlock boot loader

Recently brought this phone..
Every thing is better, except battery life.
Battery is draining so quickly. Sam's mobilesa're giving nice battery back up.
Can I change this battery and purchase new battery with more MAH like 2100 mah. Is it possible to change if I give it in Sony service center.

pathetic battery life
on 3G, it wont even last for 5 hrs
stand by time is really bad
slow camera
video stabilization is screwed up
screen quality is awesome
pics clicked taking ample amt of time are really clear
i hope the update covers the battery problem n fixes other bugs
or i ll get rid of sony forever
samsung is way better

good points r justs its display, look and front camera... pls dnt go for f***ing ion

I almost go for this phone last month but I changed my mind in the last minute and go for LG optimus 4x p880 bcos of the price but now I have no cos to regret. LG is quad-core and its the same price in Nigeria with u go to slot in Lagos.do if u reside in Nigeria, I'll advice u to go for LG.
