Sony Xperia lauched & available for Rs.35,999 @ Snapdeal & Flipkart. It is way too expensive when compared to the $449 unlocked phone in U.S. Guys wait a little the price should come down after the hype & then go ahead cos it is a fantastic phone. This surely is my next phone but should i buy it here??????????? Thats the $$$$ question.

its shipping with android 4.0
but unfortunately its tagged as 36000 :'(

Clay from Indonesia. i've got ion yesterday. it's LTE version released in Indonesia. ion is great, the battery is fine. large screen to play my FullHD videos. two thing that i don't like about ion are the os (gyngerbread) and there is no cosmic flow.. cause i really think that cosmic flow is a beatiful thing from Xperia. i used Xperia S before.

As per the specifications, it's price should be placed between Rs. 24000/- to Rs. 26000/- in India. Then it can be a good buy. I don't know when its going release. I'm waiting for it eagerly.

problems:
1. non-user removable battery
2. every time you have to charge pop-open the side door
3. extremely poor batery (i have owned every new phone that has comeout)
4. the 2.xx Android wich is outdated
5. key board annoying. cant write bad words in txt. i tried to change options
6. bulky and heavy compared to Nexus and S3. i had the LGO 4x as well
I would stay away from this phone if you have not purchased it. Sony in general pretty pathetic unless they upgrate the OS and so something about the charger situation. battery can be improved dramatically.
