I don't want the galaxy s3 cause its super ugly to me and the HTC One X seems like a risk, so I'll I guess I'll wait for this or get the atrix 3. Its Just everything in my house is made by sony, my tv, laptop, my camera, I have a psp, PSVita, and PS3 lol kinda don't want to mess up the trend.

People should understand that strength of sony and samsung are different in US market.Samsung tells to AT&T that we have got this specifications and we only support it thats it.But for sony mobile to come through At&T they have to pass lot of test cases.Even if testcases fail for samsung they dont care and they introduce it to market. This fone has been under test since feb in At&T after it was announced. Its not that sony is trying to be slow in introducing this fone to market. Its how the market is may be today samsung tomorrow sony Who knows!!!!

I got a hands on experience the other day when a Sony rep came in my work. Great feel, love the metal backplate, sturdy. Nice looking front and UI is as good as any other in my book, although HTC has some pretty nifty animations. Took video and pics with camera, Sony's collaboration with all its divisions shows. According to the rep, June 10th or June 24th release, he leaned more towards 24th. $100 with upgrade or new line, not bad.

business-wise. Vote Samsung.
Consumer wise. Drop Sony (very annoying)
Quality wise. Apple

the problem is sony is taking to long to get its phones to market!
this is a great phone that should have been released already.
instead, its slated for Q3, after the galaxy 3.
yeah, good luck with that one.
yes i think this is a better phone, but the hype from the GS3 will overshadow this phone's release.
too bad, i was planning for this one but i guess maybe i'll look into the GS3.

Sony is a company destined to rule the world of electronics but as long as there mobile division is this slow, it may not happen anytime soon. Heaven help those that help themselves.

I just hope that when the right time comes for Sony to release their first quad-core phone as their flagship, they should start with a 4.7"/4.8" screen size to compete with Samsung's S3 & HTC's One X. I am currently using Sony Xperia S with 4.3" screen but when I saw Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X, it's not that really big and its size is still comfortable to hold. I love to have a Sony smartphone with 4.7" or 4.8" screen, slim profile and between 125g - 130g in weight.
