It's deayed to the point that it's now in stores at almost the same time as gs3 even though it was announced at MWC in feb.

Sony is a good brand and they are making v.good mobiles, but they are making a big mistake by delaying there products, they become outdated.!

This phone its not coming,,,its already late,,,even samsung s3 its already out there so why sony so slow,,,,coz this pon gonna outdated,,,,i belive it sony not gonna sell it,,,im so frust been waiting this pon so long,,,yesterday i just bought samsung s3 in malaysia around rm2199,,,so whoever still waiting this phone,,,just good luck for you all,,,may god bless you

If I was to buy a smartphone right now it would be from either Sony, Samsung, or Apple(would have added LG too but i'm still not too sure about their phones) because they are the only phone makers that I actually like(had a bad experience with HTC).

Baby Wade, 31 May 2012Decided to not get this phone, realized it will be outdated... moreso true. this phone's specs look good but with gx just announced, i rather wait for that one than the ion. same thing happen to xperia s, when it was announced it seems to be a great phone until htc one x was released and realized s was very thick and outdated. sony is slow and i think they will never catch up with samsung and htc.

Decided to not get this phone, realized it will be outdated when it finally releases in the US. Might get the GS3 or some other phone in december, if Sony would just bring the GX to the US that would be great. Whoever else still wants this phone good luck.

I have two options: 1) upgrade to this phone next month or 2) wait until mid-december when I have to renew my contract, because by then there will be better phones out.

Saw the video of the Xperia S with ICS & it looks good. Hope when the Ion gets its ICS update that it will have all of features of the S plus a better lock screen. Really hope the battery life doesn't decrease like some phones & that there are not alot of bugs after the update to ICS.
